Frequently asked questions

Initial proposals are typically held for 7 days on a "First Option" basis, though some may be held on "Shared Option" where multiple clients can hold the same dates. If you don't confirm and sign a contract within this period, the space is automatically released and offered to other bookers.

Tea and coffee without snacks costs £4 per person per serving, while tea/coffee with snacks is £7 per person. Unlimited tea and coffee throughout the day is £17.50 per person, sandwich lunch is £17.50 per person, and restaurant lunch is £29 per person. Day Delegate Packages start from £75-£85 per person including room hire, refreshments, lunch, and basic AV equipment.

Studio spaces accommodate up to 100 people in theatre style, while larger spaces like Remix 1+2 can hold up to 200 people in theatre setup or 135 people in cabaret style (9 people per table). The Arena can accommodate up to 350 people in theatre setup but only 162 with round tables.

Basic AV (85" TV with HDMI) is included in room hire. Additional equipment costs include PA system from £650-£750, microphones from £90-£100 each, and AV technician from £650 per day. You can bring external AV equipment but must provide PAT test, RAM test, and liability insurance forms.

External catering requires at least two weeks advance notice for necessary approvals. For simple items like sandwiches, you may only need to sign a form, but kitchen access is not provided. Short-notice requests (less than two weeks) for external catering are typically declined.

Some larger spaces have minimum food and beverage spend requirements, such as £2,500 minimum spend mentioned for certain room bookings. Commission of 10% is paid on gross rates. October availability is limited and results in higher costs due to demand.

To secure a booking, you must provide full name of contract signatory, email address, phone number, company name, and company address. Specific payment terms aren't detailed in the communications, but bookings require signed contracts within the option period to be confirmed.

Yes, you can bring external AV equipment at no additional cost, but each item must be provided with a PAT test form, RAM test, and liability insurance documentation. This applies to all external equipment brought into the venue.

Any changes to your original event request (dates, numbers, setup, catering requirements) will be subject to possible requoting. It's important to provide accurate initial requirements to avoid pricing changes later in the booking process.
