Frequently asked questions

Room hire rates vary by space size and demand, ranging from £450-£3,150 per day. Base hire includes complimentary WiFi, still and sparkling mineral water, 85" TV with HDMI cable, and 1 flipchart with pads and pens. All rates are inclusive of VAT.

Initial proposals are typically valid for 7 days, though some may be held for shorter periods (2 days to 2 weeks depending on demand). If you don't confirm within this timeframe, the space is automatically released and becomes available to other clients. You can request a new quote if the space is still available.

Tea and coffee without snacks costs £4 per person per serving, while tea/coffee with snacks is £7 per person. Unlimited tea and coffee throughout the day is £17.50 per person, sandwich lunch is £17.50 per person, and restaurant lunch is £29 per person. Day Delegate Packages start from £75-£85 per person including arrival refreshments, mid-morning break, lunch, afternoon break, room hire, and basic AV equipment.

Capacity varies significantly by room and setup style. Studio spaces accommodate 10-100 people in boardroom or theatre style, while larger spaces like Remix 1+2 can hold up to 200 people in theatre style or 135 in cabaret setup (9 people per table). The Arena can accommodate up to 350 people in theatre style or 162 with round tables.

Basic AV (85" TV with HDMI, screen, LCD projector, flipchart) is included in room hire. Additional equipment is sourced from trusted external suppliers: PA systems from £650-£750, microphones from £90-£100 each, and large conference live-streaming equipment from £3,300-£3,500 per day. You can bring your own AV equipment with PAT test, RAM test, and liability insurance documentation.

Yes, minimum guaranteed numbers apply to most packages. Day Delegate Packages require minimum 90-250 people depending on the rate quoted. Some larger spaces have minimum food and beverage spends of £2,500-£4,000. Room hire rates may be reduced if minimum spends are met.

External catering requires at least two weeks advance notice to secure necessary approvals. For simple items like sandwiches, you may only need to sign a form confirming you're bringing outside food. Kitchen access is not typically provided for external caterers, and short-notice requests (less than two weeks) are generally declined.

A 10% commission is paid on the gross rate for bookings made through platforms like Hirespace. This commission structure is standard across their meeting room bookings and is calculated on the total event cost before VAT.

Yes, pricing varies by demand and availability. October availability is described as "very limited" resulting in higher costs, and the venue notes they cannot reduce rates during high-demand periods. Rates are generally lower for December bookings compared to peak business periods.

First option means the space is exclusively held for you during the validity period. Shared option means multiple clients may be holding the same dates, and whoever requests and signs a contract first secures the space on a definite basis. The booking status affects your priority for securing the venue.
