The Business space can accommodate up to 14 delegates comfortably around the boardroom table for meetings, or 8 people for banquet-style dining. The space is specifically designed as an intimate venue for business meetings and private dining experiences.

Initial proposals are typically valid for 7 days, after which the space is automatically released if not confirmed. Some bookings may be placed on 'shared option' meaning multiple clients can hold the same dates until one signs a contract first.

Catering options include tea and coffee without snacks (£4 per person per serving), tea/coffee with snack and fruit (£7 per person per serving), unlimited tea and coffee throughout the day (£17.50 per person), sandwich lunch (£17.50 per person), restaurant lunch (£29 per person), and unlimited tea/coffee with 3 snack servings (£26.50 per person).

External catering is permitted but requires at least two weeks advance notice for necessary approvals. For simple items like sandwiches, you'll need to sign a form confirming you won't need kitchen access. Short notice external catering requests (less than two weeks) are typically declined.

The space includes an 85'' TV with HDMI cable as standard. Additional AV equipment is hired externally from trusted suppliers with PA systems from £650, microphones from £90 each, and AV technicians from £650. If bringing your own AV equipment, you must provide PAT test, RAM test, and liability insurance forms.

Events typically run during standard business hours with examples showing 9am-5pm or 12pm-5pm timings. The Business space has private entrance and lift access, completely separate from the hotel, allowing for discrete business meetings.

Yes, commission is paid at 10% on the gross rate for bookings made through agents or intermediaries. This is clearly stated in proposals when applicable.

Any changes to confirmed event requests are subject to possible requoting. The venue reserves the right to adjust pricing based on modifications to delegate numbers, timings, catering requirements, or other specifications.

Some bookings may include minimum spend requirements on food and beverage, with examples showing £2,500 minimum spend mentioned for certain room configurations. Day Delegate Packages typically require minimum guaranteed numbers (e.g., 90 people minimum for £79 per person rate).
