Our London filming venue is available for hire for filming, photography & promotional events. Built on the site of Charles Dickens' former London home, with plenty of Georgian inspired features, the venue works well as a backdrop for both historical and contemporary productions. We have developed a series of filming & photography shoot options for clients to be able to make the most of our unique period filming location. BMA House is fortunate to have two outdoor spaces which, until recently, have been unseen on-screen. The Courtyard & driveway, and the exclusive botanical Garden.

BMA House offers two outdoor spaces: the Courtyard & driveway, and an exclusive botanical Garden. The Garden closes at 22:00 but events can continue in the Garden Room until 23:00. These spaces have been recently made available for filming and provide unique period location options.

Enquiries must be confirmed by specific deadlines (example given was 25th June for a July event) or they expire from the system. The venue experiences high enquiry volumes with response times of 1-2 days. Site visits can be arranged during weekdays for viewing spaces.

The 3rd floor is wheelchair accessible but requires use of a wheelchair lift with weight limitations that may not accommodate electric wheelchairs. The venue needs advance notice of wheelchair users to ensure proper accommodation. Ground floor spaces like the Garden and Garden Room offer easier access.

The Garden & Garden Room can only be booked from 6:30pm-11pm for certain events, though other timing arrangements may be possible. The venue cannot book outdoor spaces only - indoor space hire is required. Setup access varies by booking type, with some events receiving access from 4pm and others requiring full-day hire.
