The Charles Dickens Room is located on the lower ground floor and offers great AV technology and real flexibility that makes it perfect for a variety of smaller meetings. The names of past Presidents, Secretaries and other senior officers of the BMA are inscribed around on the walls around the room.

No, external catering is not permitted due to exclusive contracts with in-house caterers. All catering must be provided by BMA House, with minimum catering spends ranging from £250+VAT to £3,500+VAT depending on the event size and space.

Enquiries are held in the system with expiration dates - typically requiring confirmation by specific dates (e.g., "by the 25th June, after this time your enquiry will expire"). Response times are currently 1-2 days due to high enquiry volumes, and the venue is experiencing exceptionally high demand.

The venue offers wheelchair accessibility, though the 3rd floor requires use of a wheelchair lift with weight limitations that may not accommodate electric wheelchairs. Day Delegate Rates include arrival tea/coffee with mini-Danish, mid-morning refreshments with biscuits and fruit, 2-course hot fork buffet lunch, bottled water throughout, and afternoon tea/coffee with cake. Basic refreshments like tea, coffee and biscuits cost £4.95+VAT per person as standalone items.

The Garden and Garden Room can only be booked from 6:30pm-11pm for certain events, and the Garden closes at 22:00 while events can continue in the Garden Room until 23:00. Some spaces have specific timing restrictions, and availability varies significantly by date and space.
