Most spaces have minimum catering spends: Tudor Hart Room £250+VAT minimum, Garden & Garden Room £90pp+VAT (minimum 40 people), and larger events require minimum £3,500+VAT catering spend. Day Delegate Rates start from £90-95+VAT per person with minimum numbers typically 70-120 depending on the space.

Capacities vary significantly by space and layout: Tudor Hart Room accommodates 14 boardroom style, Anderson Room 22 boardroom, Bevan Suite 150 theatre/77 cabaret, Great Hall 294 theatre/160 cabaret, and Garden & Garden Room maximum 90 guests. The venue can accommodate between 20-300 people across different spaces, with theatre style generally offering higher capacity than cabaret or boardroom setups.

No, external catering is not permitted due to exclusive contracts with in-house caterers. All food and beverage must be provided by BMA House's catering team. The venue offers comprehensive catering packages including Day Delegate Rates, fine dining packages, and various menu options detailed in their hospitality menus.

Standard room hire includes data projector, screen, flipchart, PA system with up to 3 microphones, and technical support for setup. The Great Hall offers extensive AV including high-powered Barco projector, 24-channel mixing desk, up to 9 microphones, LCD monitors, staging, and lighting. Events requiring heavy technical content or more than 4 lapel mics may require a second technician at £450+VAT per day.

Enquiries typically expire if not confirmed within specific timeframes. Examples from correspondence show enquiries being released from the system after periods like 25th June or 25th July, suggesting roughly 2-4 weeks hold periods. Clients are advised to confirm bookings promptly to secure their preferred dates, as the venue experiences high demand.

Garden spaces can only be booked from 6:30pm-11pm, with the Garden closing at 22:00 but events can continue in the Garden Room until 23:00. Most meeting rooms operate 9am-5pm for day events. The venue cannot accommodate requests for outdoor spaces only - indoor space must be booked alongside any garden access.

The venue offers wheelchair accessibility, though the 3rd floor requires use of a wheelchair lift once on the floor to access rooms. The wheelchair lift has weight limitations that may be unsuitable for electric wheelchairs, so advance notice of wheelchair users is required. Ground floor spaces like the Garden Room and Courtyard Suite offer easier access.

The venue aims to respond within 1-2 days but is experiencing high enquiry volumes. To prepare proposals, they typically need: event layout preferences, catering requirements, specific timings, AV needs, guest numbers, and preferred dates. Site visits can be arranged, and the venue recommends booking viewings to see spaces firsthand before confirming.

BMA House offers hybrid event capabilities with filming packages starting from £900+VAT and hybrid packages from £1,700+VAT depending on complexity. The venue has invested in hybrid equipment and can accommodate live streaming requirements with stable Wi-Fi and technical support, though specific requirements should be discussed with their events team.

The venue offers discounts for registered charities, with examples showing Day Delegate Rates reduced from £95+VAT to £90+VAT per person for charitable organizations. Discounts may also apply to room hire for qualifying events, though specific eligibility criteria should be confirmed directly with the venue.
