Located on the third floor the Black Suite comprises of the Black, Lister & Flemming rooms. It retains the original art deco barrel-vaulted ceiling of the Great Hall of which it was part until an extra floor was created in 1985. The Suite can be set out in a number of different layouts and comes with the latest AV technology. A fantastic space for larger meetings, presentations, conferences or corporate events.

Room hire varies by space: Tudor Hart Room (14 boardroom) costs £660+VAT, Anderson Room (22 boardroom) pricing not specified, Bevan Suite (150 theatre/77 cabaret) costs £1,650+VAT for half-day hire, and Great Hall (294 theatre/160 cabaret) pricing varies by package. Day Delegate Rates start from £90-95+VAT per person with minimum numbers typically 70-120 depending on the room.

Minimum catering spends vary by room: Tudor Hart Room requires £250+VAT minimum for lunch, while larger events have minimum spends of £3,500+VAT plus room hire. External catering is not permitted due to exclusive contracts with in-house caterers. Day Delegate packages include arrival refreshments, mid-morning breaks, lunch, and afternoon refreshments.

Standard room hire includes data projector, screen, flipchart, PA system with up to 3 microphones, and technical support for setup. The Great Hall offers extensive AV including high-powered projector, multiple microphones (lapel and handheld), lectern, staging, lighting, and full-day technical support. Events requiring heavy AV or more than 4 lapel mics need a second technician at £450+VAT per day.

Enquiries typically expire within specific timeframes - one example shows a 25th June deadline for a July event, with the venue stating "after this time your enquiry will expire in our system." The venue experiences high enquiry volumes with 1-2 day response times, so early booking is recommended to secure preferred dates.

The third floor (where Bevan Suite is located) is wheelchair accessible but requires use of a wheelchair lift once on the floor. The wheelchair lift has weight limits that are sometimes unsuitable for electric wheelchairs, so details of any wheelchair users must be provided in advance for assessment.

Garden and Garden Room can only be booked from 6:30pm-11pm for certain events, with the Garden closing at 22:00 but events can continue in the Garden Room until 23:00. Standard business hours appear to accommodate 8am-5pm events, with some flexibility for evening events depending on the space.

BMA House offers hybrid event packages starting from £1,700+VAT depending on requirements and complexity. Filming packages start from £900+VAT. The venue has ongoing investment in hybrid equipment and can accommodate live streaming with stable WiFi and wired ethernet connections for cameras.

Registered charities may receive discounted rates - one example shows a Day Delegate Rate reduced from £95+VAT to £90+VAT per person due to charitable status. The venue also offers 20% discounts on certain room hires in specific circumstances, though standard commercial rates apply to most corporate bookings.
