Fine room 1 holds all of it's traditional features: painted ceiling, marble fireplace, chandelier, wooden floors and vast windows allowing for an abundance of sunlight. The room can be used for both wedding ceremonies, drink receptions and banquets.

Fine Room 1 is a great space for wedding ceremonies for up to 100 seated guests, and can flow beautifully into a drinks reception in the adjoining Fine Room 2.

Fine Room 1 can accommodate up to 100 seated guests for wedding ceremonies. For receptions, Fine Rooms 1 & 2 combined can hold up to 170 guests reception style or 80 guests banquet style for a sit-down meal. Asia House cannot accommodate weddings with 240 guests or more.

Fine Rooms 1 & 2 combined cost £2,300 plus VAT for an 8-hour hire (09:00-17:00). Evening hire rates vary - for example, a 6-hour evening event (16:00-22:00) costs £3,492 plus VAT including waiting staff. All prices exclude VAT which is charged at 20%.

Yes, external caterers are permitted with a dry hire fee of £600 plus VAT, which includes use of the ground floor kitchen. However, Asia House will not provide any equipment, tables, chairs, linen, cutlery, glassware or waiting staff - these must be hired separately at additional cost (chairs £3.50 plus VAT each, tables £12 plus VAT each).

Corkage charges are £12 plus VAT per bottle of wine, £15 plus VAT per bottle of champagne, and £1 plus VAT per beer bottle. These charges apply when using external caterers with the dry hire option.

Yes, the building is fully accessible with a lift to access bathrooms and a ramp that is placed outside for wheelchair users. The ramp is set up before guest arrival and again when guests leave. The Hutchison Room is specifically confirmed as wheelchair accessible, and wheelchair users cannot use a stairlift.

Asia House offers Day Delegate Rate packages at £75 plus VAT per person with a minimum of 25 guests. Hot or cold fork buffets have a minimum of 15 guests, while sandwich lunches have a minimum of 10 guests. A 3-course festive meal costs £50 per person plus VAT. All drinks are charged on consumption with no minimum spend requirement.

Yes, a late license can be acquired until midnight for an additional fee of £500 plus VAT per hour from 10pm. This allows you to extend your celebration beyond the standard evening hours.

Available AV includes plasma TV (£150 plus VAT), PA system (£300 plus VAT), conference projector (£250 plus VAT), and microphones (£85 plus VAT each). An AV technician costs £85 plus VAT per hour with a 4-hour minimum and is recommended if more than 3 microphones are required or if lapel microphones are needed.

Waiting staff are included in some packages but not in basic room hire quotes. For example, evening room hire including waiting staff costs £3,492 plus VAT, while DDR packages include dedicated waiting staff. When using external caterers with dry hire, waiting staff are not provided and must be arranged separately.

Standard event hours are 09:00-17:00 for daytime events and can extend to 22:00 for evening celebrations. Events typically include guest check-in at reception with cloakroom access, then guests proceed upstairs to Fine Rooms 1 & 2. The venue can accommodate various layouts including L-shaped catwalks between the two rooms for fashion-style events.
