The Great Hall, a remarkable venue, stretches an impressive 28ft high and 115ft long. Nestled at the heart of BMA House on the first floor, it offers sweeping views over the main Courtyard from a private balcony.

This expansive room serves as a flexible backdrop for an array of events, be it sophisticated cocktail parties, grand dinners, engaging exhibitions, or even matrimony ceremonies, given its official licensing for such occasions.




Frequently asked questions

The Tudor Hart room accommodates up to 14 boardroom style for £660+VAT, Anderson room holds 22 boardroom for £1,200+VAT, and the Bevan Suite accommodates 150 theatre/77 cabaret for £1,650+VAT half-day hire. The Great Hall holds 294 theatre/160 cabaret with DDR packages starting from £95+VAT per person including room hire.

Most spaces have mandatory minimum catering spends: Tudor Hart room requires £250+VAT minimum for lunch, larger events have minimum spends of £3,500+VAT, and DDR packages require minimum numbers of 40-120 depending on the space. Wedding packages require minimum 40 guests at £170 per person.

External catering is not permitted due to exclusive contracts with in-house caterers. All food and beverage must be provided by BMA House's catering team, with menus and pricing detailed in their hospitality brochures.

Room hire includes data projector, screen, flipchart, PA system with up to 3-8 microphones depending on space, and technical support for setup. The Great Hall includes extensive AV with high-powered projector, multiple microphones, staging, lighting, and full-day technical support.

Garden events can only be booked from 6:30pm-11pm with the Garden closing at 22:00. Wedding venue hire runs 14:00-23:30 with earlier supplier access. Conference spaces typically operate 9am-5pm, and some events can extend to 8am-10pm with appropriate arrangements.

Enquiries expire in their system if not confirmed by specific deadlines, typically 10-14 days after the initial quote. You must confirm interest by the stated expiry date or the provisional hold will be released.

BMA House aims to respond to enquiries within 1-2 days, though they are experiencing high enquiry volumes. They request patience during busy periods and will endeavour to respond at their earliest convenience.

The Garden and Garden Room combination has a maximum capacity of 90 guests, while larger events requiring 120+ guests would need different spaces. The venue cannot accommodate requests exceeding their stated room capacities.

The 3rd floor is wheelchair accessible but requires use of a wheelchair lift with weight limitations that may not suit electric wheelchairs. Details of any wheelchair users must be provided in advance for proper accommodation planning.

Wedding venue hire costs £6,600 for spaces including Prince's Room, Snow Room, Garden and Garden Room with Courtyard access (14:00-23:30). The Lavender Package is £170 per person including welcome drinks, canapés, three-course meal, wine, and evening food truck with minimum 40 guests.
