The Marlborough Theatre has an abundance of natural light and is fitted with the latest AV offering streaming options and can hold up to 80 Theatre or 50 Cabaret. The space includes a lectern, computer, comfort monitor and microphones,

Adjoining the theatre is the Marlborough Foyer, a bright open space perfect for catering, networking or finishing the day with a drinks reception. The foyer area has a dedicated cloakroom and registration area with 2 55" screens idea for digital branding.




Frequently asked questions

The Marlborough Theatre costs £2,300 VAT exempt per day for days 2, 3 & 4, and £1,700 VAT exempt per day for days 1 & 5. Session time is 8am to 5pm. The space includes state-of-the-art AV and lighting with hybrid capabilities, lectern with computer and Microsoft Office, microphones, 22" comfort monitor, switcher with HDMI inputs, 84" screen with high-brightness LCD projection, 500MB wifi, and infrared induction loops.

The theatre accommodates up to 45 cabaret style or up to 60 theatre style. There is a minimum of 30 people required for bookings. The adjoining Marlborough Foyer provides additional space for networking and catering with 2 x 55" screens for digital branding.

There is a minimum catering spend of £3,000 plus VAT per day. The daytime catering package costs £62.40 per person (minimum 40 people) and includes arrival refreshments with JING tea and Notes Coffee, mid-morning refreshments, two-course buffet lunch, mid-afternoon refreshments, still and sparkling water throughout the day, and whole fruit basket.

Yes, overnight hold is available at £1,140 VAT exempt per night for day 1, and £1,550 VAT exempt per night for days 2, 3, and 4. This allows you to keep your setup in place between event days.

Included AV features a lectern with computer, Microsoft Office and Slido, microphones, 22" comfort monitor, switcher with 2 guest HDMI inputs, optional VGA input, laser pointer with clicker, 4 top-table microphones, 40" comfort monitor, 16:9 screen with high-brightness LCD projection, 500MB wifi, and infrared induction loops. Additional options include AV technician at £380 plus VAT, lapel radio microphones at £50 plus VAT per mic (max 8), and roving microphones at £50 plus VAT per mic (max 4).

Catering for the Marlborough Theatre is served on stations in the Marlborough Foyer, which is a shared space adjacent to the theatre. This bright open space is perfect for networking, registration, and finishing events with drinks receptions.

Standard session time is 8am to 5pm. Additional hours are available at £300 VAT exempt per hour. The venue can accommodate events running later, such as drinks receptions until midnight, with appropriate additional charges.

Viewings are available Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. The venue gets quite booked up, so it's recommended to place spaces on hold as soon as possible. The sales team follows up within 5 working days if no response is received to initial proposals.

The space can accommodate both cabaret (up to 45) and theatre style (up to 60) layouts. For events requiring tall structures, note that ceiling height is approximately 4 metres, so 6-metre structures will not fit in this space.
