Maynard 2 is an airy, functional meeting room with air conditioning and is pillar free. The space is located on the lower ground floor of the contemporary conference facilities and is served by two lifts making it fully accessible. All catering is served in the spacious foyer situated directly outside the room perfect for networking between sessions or drinks to finish the day. The room is perfect for a small standalone meeting or can be booked as part of the Maynard Suite.




Frequently asked questions

Room hire rates start from £1,500 VAT exempt per day for spaces accommodating 20+ attendees. The Marlborough Theatre costs £2,300 VAT exempt per day (days 2-5) or £1,700 VAT exempt (day 1), with overnight holds available at £1,140-£1,550 VAT exempt per night. Additional hours are charged at £300 VAT exempt per hour.

All rooms have mandatory minimum catering spends ranging from £1,500-£3,000 plus VAT per day depending on the space. The daytime catering package costs £62.40 per person (minimum 40 people) and includes arrival refreshments, mid-morning break, two-course buffet lunch, afternoon tea, and water throughout the day.

The Marlborough Theatre accommodates up to 45 cabaret style or 60 theatre style with a minimum of 30 people. The Green House holds up to 60 formal dining or 140 standing, while other meeting rooms vary in capacity. All spaces require minimum numbers to be met for booking.

Standard AV includes lectern with computer (Microsoft Office and Slido), microphones, comfort monitors, HDMI/VGA inputs, laser pointer, 16:9 screen with LCD projection, 500MB wifi, and infrared induction loops. Additional equipment like AV technicians (£380-£456 plus VAT per day) and extra microphones (£50 plus VAT each) are available.

Standard session times run from 8am to 5pm for day meetings. Evening events can extend until midnight with additional charges. Viewings are available Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. Setup and breakdown time may require overnight holds at additional cost.

The venue operates with in-house catering requirements and minimum spend obligations. External catering arrangements are not mentioned in standard packages, suggesting the venue prefers to use their own catering services. All menus are seasonal and subject to change without notice.

Quotes are valid at the time of enquiry and subject to future price changes. The venue follows up within 5 working days if no response is received. Spaces are not automatically held during the enquiry process - you must specifically request to place a space on hold to secure availability.

All event spaces are fully accessible from the main entrance and served by lifts. The venue includes infrared induction loops as standard AV equipment. Catering is served in spacious foyers adjacent to meeting rooms, making networking and breaks easily accessible for all attendees.
