Saddlers’ Hall

Venue hire ranges from £2,000-£3,150 excluding VAT depending on timing and duration. Standard evening hire (5:30pm-11pm) costs £2,400 excluding VAT, while extended hours (11:30am-11pm) cost £3,150 excluding VAT. The hire includes exclusive use of the Great Hall with musicians' gallery, stained glass windows, PA system, and natural light, plus use of Front Rooms for pre-dinner drinks reception.

Hall staff meals are mandatory for up to 5 staff members on event day. Junior outmess costs £35 excluding VAT per person and senior outmess costs £48-£50 excluding VAT per person. This adds approximately £175-£250 excluding VAT to every booking and covers hall manager and cloakroom staff meals.

Three-course seated dinner with tea, coffee and petit fours costs £79-£81 excluding VAT per person. Christmas seated dinner packages cost £120-£125 excluding VAT per person and include festive menu, sparkling wine reception, half bottle of wine per person, Christmas crackers and themed linen. All dining is provided exclusively by Searcys - external caterers are not permitted.

Standard drinks package costs £36-£38 excluding VAT per person and includes 1.5 glasses of prosecco for reception, half bottle of house wine per person, plus soft drinks and water. Extended packages with 4-4.5 hours unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks cost £48 excluding VAT per person. Christmas packages include mulled wine and festive cocktails.

The Great Hall accommodates up to 150 guests for conferences but specific seated dining capacity varies by layout. Recent quotes show successful events for 70-120 guests with cabaret-style seating. The venue can handle larger groups up to 200 for standing receptions, but seated dinner capacity should be confirmed based on your specific table arrangement requirements.

Provisional holds can be placed for 1 week maximum. Quotes are valid for 2 weeks from issue date. Bookings are only confirmed upon receiving a signed agreement and completed hall application - verbal confirmations or deposits alone do not secure the date.

Standard evening events run 5:30pm-11pm, though earlier access from 4:30pm can be arranged for setup. Extended day hire is available from 11:30am-11pm for £3,150 excluding VAT. All timings are strictly enforced and the venue operates under standard terms and conditions that may require adjustments for unforeseen circumstances.

Searcys is the exclusive caterer - no external catering is permitted with full kitchen access not available to outside suppliers. AV equipment is not kept on-site and must be sourced from recommended external suppliers. The venue has a PA system built-in, but projectors, screens, and microphones require external hire through approved vendors.

DJ and dancefloor packages cost £1,900-£2,000 excluding VAT. Performing rights fees add £20 excluding VAT. The venue can arrange speakers, microphones for £50 excluding VAT, and has a musicians' gallery available. Entertainment must be arranged through the venue's recommended suppliers or approved external providers.

Great Hall hire includes exclusive use of the main dining space with five chandeliers, period mouldings, stained glass windows and musicians' gallery. Front Rooms are available for pre-dinner drinks receptions and post-dinner activities. The venue also features a Courtyard perfect for summer events and outdoor receptions when weather permits.
