Frequently asked questions

Wedding venue hire is £6,600 for 14:00-23:30 with earlier access for suppliers. This includes dedicated wedding planner and operations team on the day, security and staff, Chiavari chairs, tables, linen, and all crockery, cutlery and glassware. The recommended spaces for 50 guests are the Prince's Room, Snow Room, Garden and Garden Room, with the Courtyard for photographs.

The Lavender Package costs £170 per person with a minimum of 40 guests. It includes two welcome glasses of prosecco, four canapes, three-course fine dining wedding breakfast with tea, coffee and petit fours, wine and water for the meal, a glass of prosecco for toast, and evening food truck in the Courtyard. A cash or account bar is also available.

The Sir James Paget Room can accommodate wedding ceremonies and receptions. For 50 guests, the recommended configuration includes the Prince's Room, Snow Room, Garden and Garden Room with Courtyard access. The venue can handle various wedding sizes with different room combinations depending on guest numbers.

Wedding venue hire runs from 14:00-23:30 with earlier access available for suppliers. The Garden closes at 22:00 but events can continue in the Garden Room until 23:00. Events can accommodate various timing preferences within these parameters.

The venue includes latest AV equipment, data projector, PA system with up to 8 top table/roving microphones, and induction loop for accessibility. Technical support is provided for setup, and the venue has ongoing investment in hybrid equipment for modern wedding needs.

External caterers are not permitted due to exclusive contracts with venue caterers. However, suppliers for other services like photography, flowers, and entertainment can access the venue earlier than the 14:00 start time for setup purposes.

The venue offers direct access to a beautiful Courtyard and botanical Garden. The Garden can be used for drinks receptions but closes at 22:00, while the Courtyard is specifically mentioned as ideal for wedding photographs. The Garden and Garden Room combination works well for outdoor ceremony elements.

The Sir James Paget Room is on the ground floor and includes an induction loop for hearing accessibility. The venue is fully accessible, though some upper floor spaces require wheelchair lift access with weight restrictions that may not suit all electric wheelchairs - details of wheelchair users must be provided in advance.
