Located within the RSM's Members' Area, the Wimpole and Hewit Rooms are available to hire for business meetings, seminars, small press conferences, or any other private corporate event. It can also be booked for standalone meetings, training, or presentations. These spaces feature wooden panelled walls with a large window, allowing natural daylight to come into the room, and two beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.

Room rates vary by space: Dame Deirdre Hine room £990/day (36 capacity classroom), Marcus Beck Library £900/day (30 capacity U-shape), Heritage Centre £440/day (17 capacity boardroom), and Wheatley Room £1,800/day (72 cabaret/80 theatre/38 boardroom). Weekend bookings require minimum £3,000 spend. All rates exclude VAT and include LCD screen, with additional equipment like laptops (£150), video conference kit (£90), and flipcharts (£40) available for hire.

Minimum catering numbers are 15 people for most rooms, with 10 minimum for Heritage Centre and 30 for Wheatley Room. Tea/coffee with biscuits costs £4.30 per person per serving, tea/coffee only £3.95, and working lunch £26.25. Working lunch packages including 3 tea/coffee breaks cost £38.85 per person. All catering prices exclude VAT and are charged per person per serving.

The venue operates during standard business hours with events typically running 08:00-17:00. Evening events are available from 6:30pm-10pm with service ending at 10pm to allow guest departure. The venue is closed on certain dates and does not accommodate requests outside these hours, including late-night events starting at 11pm or midnight.

No external food or drink is allowed into the venue. All catering must be provided by the venue's in-house catering team. This policy applies to all events regardless of size or duration.

LCD screens are included in all business rooms. Additional equipment available for hire includes laptops (£150), video conference kits (£90 for most rooms, included in some), PA systems with handheld microphones (£250), flipcharts with pens (£40), and AV technicians for full event support (£950). Hybrid packages for streaming start at £1,000.

All quotes are valid for 5 days only. The venue does not automatically hold spaces when providing quotes - you must specifically request a temporary hold. Site visits are recommended to check room suitability before booking, and these can be arranged through the sales team.

The Heritage Centre has a fixed maximum temperature of 20°C that cannot be altered due to antique book preservation requirements. Some rooms have ethernet ports available for live streaming equipment. The Marcus Beck Library has a fixed U-shape layout for 30 people, while other rooms offer flexible seating arrangements.

Capacities vary by room and setup: Dame Deirdre Hine accommodates 36 classroom/60 theatre/34 boardroom, Wheatley Room fits 72 cabaret/80 theatre/38 boardroom, Marcus Beck Library has fixed 30-person U-shape, and Heritage Centre holds 17 boardroom style.
