The Wheatley Room is the perfect location for product launches, drinks receptions or any other corporate events and meetings. It is a spacious room with the capacity to host up to 60 people, accommodating them with refreshments serves at the rear end of the room, amongst the Royal Society of Medicine's exhibition area. The AV technician booth is located in the centre of the room where dedicated technicians can operate and offer skilled technical support.

Max Rayne Auditorium costs £3,190 for 4 hours (theatre style, 146 capacity) with complimentary Atrium catering space. Dame Deirdre Hine room is £990 per day (36 classroom capacity). Heritage Centre is £440 per day (17 boardroom capacity, temperature controlled at 20°C). All spaces have minimum catering requirements: 90 people for Max Rayne Auditorium, 15 people for smaller meeting rooms, with catering charged per person per serving starting from £3.95 for tea/coffee.

The venue operates with standard daytime hours, with evening events available from 6:30pm to 10pm maximum. Service ends at 10pm to allow guests to wind down for departure. Weekend hires require a minimum booking of £3,000 plus VAT. Events cannot run past 10pm and the venue has specific closure dates when unavailable.

Max Rayne Auditorium includes projector, 2 handheld microphones, 2 lapel microphones, and lectern as standard. Additional equipment costs: laptop £150, video conference kit £90-150, PA system with 2 handheld mics £250, AV technician for full event support £950, hybrid streaming packages £1,000-£3,240, and 65" relay screen £150.

External food and drink are strictly prohibited at the venue. All catering must be provided in-house with rates per person per serving: tea/coffee with biscuits £4.30, working lunch £26.25, canapés (6 per person) £23.00, house wine £25.50 per bottle, beers £5.00 per bottle. Drinks receptions have minimum spends of £2,500-£4,000 plus VAT depending on the space.

All quotes are valid for 5 days only. The venue does not automatically hold spaces when providing quotes - you must specifically request a temporary hold. Site visits are recommended to check room suitability, and bookings require confirmation within the 5-day quote validity period.

Max Rayne Auditorium holds 146 theatre style, Wheatley Room accommodates 72 cabaret/80 theatre/38 boardroom, Marcus Beck Library fits 30 in fixed U-shape, and Heritage Centre holds 17 boardroom style. The Heritage Centre is temperature controlled at exactly 20°C to preserve antique books and this cannot be altered.

Day Delegate Packages cost £96-£115.20 per person plus VAT (minimum 180 delegates) and include room hire in auditorium and catering space, registration desk, dedicated AV technician, arrival refreshments with pastries, mid-morning and afternoon breaks, hot/cold buffet lunch, standard AV equipment, and Wi-Fi access. Rates vary by day of week with Tuesday-Thursday being most expensive.

The Heritage Centre has a strict temperature limit of 20°C maximum that cannot be changed due to antique book preservation. Some rooms have ethernet ports available for live streaming equipment. The venue requires minimum numbers for all bookings and has specific access times - some catering spaces may not be available until 6pm if other events are running earlier in the day.
