Woburn Square at University of London Venues

Day Delegate Rate (DDR) packages start at £70 per person for full-day events including venue hire, standard AV, catering, and staffing. Half-day rates are available from £33.95 per person for afternoon events. Room hire varies by space - Senate Room costs £1,800 for 08:00-17:00, while smaller spaces like Woburn Suite cost £1,400 for 12:00-17:00. Additional charges apply for catering outside standard hours including weekends.

Woburn Suite accommodates up to 90 people in theatre layout or 50 in cabaret style. Senate Room can handle 80 people with tiered seating. Beveridge Hall supports up to 160 people in cabaret layout with 20 round tables of 8 chairs each. The venue cannot accommodate classroom format for 40+ people due to space limitations from long-term lease bookings.

Standard venue hire operates from 08:00-18:00. The venue cannot accommodate requests for 06:00 start times or very early morning access. Events can run until 23:00 but additional charges apply for service outside standard hours. Weekend events incur additional catering service charges.

Standard AV package includes laptop/PC, data projector, screen, internet access, lectern, PA system, and up to 3 microphones with AV technician assistance during setup. For additional AV requirements beyond the standard package, you must contact ConferenceCast/Torpedo, the approved UoL AV provider. Hybrid event capabilities and recording equipment require external AV support.

Tea, coffee and biscuits cost £4.75+VAT per person. Working lunch is £15.50+VAT per person. Sharing platters start from £19.95+VAT per person. Hot or cold buffet costs £23.95+VAT per person. One-hour Senate drinks package is £15.95 per person. All catering is subject to VAT and additional service charges apply for weekend events.

You must complete attached events application and due diligence forms for review and approval before booking confirmation. These forms are required to handover to a dedicated event manager. The venue can hold dates provisionally while forms are processed, and a dedicated event manager is assigned once booking is confirmed.

The venue has approved suppliers for AV services (ConferenceCast/Torpedo). Filming requests are handled case-by-case with specific requirements for crew size, equipment, and budget considerations. External catering arrangements may be possible but require approval through the application process. All external suppliers must be approved through the due diligence process.

The venue frequently experiences availability issues, particularly in June 2025 and other peak periods due to long-term lease bookings. If your preferred dates are unavailable, they will suggest alternative dates such as Tuesday 5th May 2026, Monday 11th May 2025, or Tuesday 12th May 2025.
