Complemented by a dramatic staircase leading up to a spacious landing, Crush Hall is a stunning space for networking, presentations, or registration area.

When you book Beveridge Hall or MacMillan Hall, you get complimentary access to Crush Hall. You cannot book sole use of Crush Hall.




Frequently asked questions

The Day Delegate Rate (DDR) package costs £70.00 per person and includes venue hire from 08:00-18:00, standard AV package (lectern, laptop, screen, projector, PA, 2 microphones, AV technician assistance), dedicated hospitality space from 08:00-16:00, refreshments on arrival, mid-morning refreshments, sandwich lunch, mid-afternoon refreshments with cake, venue staffing, utilities, furniture setup, free Wi-Fi, and dedicated event and hospitality managers. Venue hire is VAT inclusive, while catering and services are subject to VAT.

The Woburn Suite (G22/26) can accommodate up to 90 people in theatre layout or up to 50 people in cabaret layout. For classroom format requiring desks, the venue cannot accommodate 40 people due to space limitations from long-term lease bookings occupying larger spaces.

Standard venue hire operates from 08:00-18:00, with some events extending to 23:00. The venue cannot accommodate requests for 06:00 access or earlier setup times. Weekend events may incur additional catering service charges.

Standard AV package includes laptop/PC, data projector, screen, internet access, and 3 microphones. For additional AV requirements beyond the standard package, you must contact ConferenceCast/Torpedo, the approved UoL AV provider, for separate quotes and arrangements.

Individual catering items include tea, coffee and biscuits at £4.75+VAT per person, working lunch at £15.50+VAT per person, sharing platters from £19.95+VAT per person, and hot or cold buffet at £23.95+VAT per person. A 1-hour Senate drinks package costs £15.95 per person. Weekend catering incurs additional service charges.

You must complete attached events application and due diligence forms for review and approval before booking confirmation. These forms are required to handover to a dedicated event manager and allow for more accurate quoting. The venue can hold dates provisionally while forms are being processed.

Some rooms are equipped with small flip-top tables better suited for tablets rather than laptops. The venue cannot always provide proper desk space for all attendees in larger groups due to room size limitations and existing furniture configurations.

The venue frequently has limited availability due to long-term lease bookings occupying larger spaces. June 2025 shows no availability, and alternative dates offered include Tuesday 5th May 2026, Monday 11th May 2025, and Tuesday 12th May 2025. Many enquiries are declined due to lack of availability.
