Room hire rates vary significantly based on the specific room and event requirements. For example, the Churchill room costs £15,120 excluding VAT for a full day hire, while smaller syndicate rooms like Albert cost £2,880 excluding VAT. All room hire includes AV packages with projectors, screens, sound systems, microphones, and technicians during standard hours (08:00-17:30).

The Churchill can accommodate up to 410 people in theatre style. Smaller syndicate rooms like Gielgud, Burton and Redgrave Combined can handle various configurations, while Albert and Victoria are suitable for smaller groups. Room combinations are possible via moveable walls to create larger spaces when needed.

Standard operating hours are 08:00-18:00, with security, porterage, and cleaning services included during these times. The venue is closed during August, making it unavailable for events during this period. Events typically run from 09:00-17:00 based on most bookings.

The venue hire package includes security, porterage and cleaning during standard hours, free visitor Wi-Fi, QEII Centre furniture (excluding exhibition furniture), manned cloakroom, dedicated registration area and desks, business centre facilities, and a QEII Delivery Team consisting of Event Manager, AV Project Manager, and QEII Taste Manager.

Initial availability is offered on a first option basis with potential discounts (such as 10% on room hire rates). No booking is confirmed until a contract is signed by both parties and a deposit is paid. All correspondence is subject to contract until binding agreements are concluded.

Each room includes comprehensive AV packages: motorised projection screens, WUXGA high-definition projectors, sound systems with multiple wired and radio microphones, lecterns, induction loops, laptop PCs with sound, and dedicated technicians. Larger rooms like Churchill include additional equipment such as cue lights and talk-back headsets.

The venue is completely closed during August and unavailable for bookings. Some dates may be blocked for whole centre events, which prevents individual room bookings. Availability varies significantly, with some clients being offered only specific dates like Friday the 11th for their requested periods.

Catering is provided by QEII Taste by Leith's, with costs included in event proposals. The venue has dedicated catering spaces like Pickwick available at no additional room hire cost. Specific catering pricing varies by event requirements and is quoted separately from room hire.
