What capacity limits apply to different rooms in the Business space?

The Churchill can accommodate up to 410 people in theatre style layout. Smaller syndicate rooms like Gielgud, Burton and Redgrave Combined can handle various capacities depending on layout requirements. Room capacities are fixed and cannot be exceeded for safety and licensing reasons.

Are there any months when the venue is completely closed?

Yes, the QEII Centre is closed during August and unavailable for bookings. If your preferred dates fall in August, you'll need to consider alternative months for your event.

What's included in the standard venue hire package?

The venue hire package includes security, porterage and cleaning service during standard operating hours (08:00-18:00), free visitor Wi-Fi, QEII Centre furniture (excluding exhibition furniture), manned cloakroom, dedicated registration area and desks, business centre facilities, and a QEII Delivery Team consisting of Event Manager, AV Project Manager, and QEII Taste Manager.

How does the booking confirmation process work?

No booking is considered confirmed until a contract has been signed by both parties and a deposit paid. All correspondence is subject to contract until binding contracts are concluded, and the QEII Centre accepts no responsibility for costs incurred before confirmation.
