The Palm Court is a stunning reception area and is most certainly the area within our events space with the biggest wow factor! The glass domed roof of the Palm Court creates a distinct feeling of being outside when in. Its high glass ceiling allows light to flood in by day whilst turning into a focal point, lighting up, as evening falls. This space is ideal for standing functions or drinks receptions.

Light, ornate and elegant, with fine bow windows at each end and a west facing terrace overlooking Hyde Park with an ante room if needed. One of the finest spaces in London. With a variety of seating arrangements available, it is perfect for a range of corporate or private events including weddings, conferences, charity events and more.

The Millennium Courtyard is the perfect space to enjoy an after work BBQ with summer cocktails, right in the heart of London Bridge. In colder months, the Courtyard can be transformed into a marquee reception. The space can seat 80 and hold 400 standing.

Ideal for sporting events, outdoor parties and corporate events, the Artillery Garden is the largest garden in the City of London. Honing just over five acres of garden space, the Artillery Garden is set within the exclusive grounds of the HAC Estate.

Running the whole length of the Pavilion, the Roof Terrace is a beautiful and airy space with a long balcony and remarkable views of the Ground. Used by MCC Members on match days as a place to enjoy the cricket over a drink in the sun, it makes a dazzling and spacious North London venue for a summer drinks party or reception.

The private dining rooms situated on level 38 of the iconic Gherkin building offer unforgettable views of the London skyline. Designed with flexibility in mind, whole floor bookings allow for large gatherings of up to 130 guests. Events at The Gherkin are lavishly catered for with bespoke breakfast, lunch and dinner menus that bring to life Searcys' passion for British produce and seasonality. Here, private dining is both refined and secluded, offering a privileged perspective to impress your guests.

The Union Tavern Westbourne grove

The downstairs bar is perfect for events and private parties. This space allows 50 standing or 30 seated, along with a dedicated bar, easy access to the garden and a relaxing atmosphere. With stunning views of the canal side and plenty of outside space it is a popular space indeed.

Devonshire Terrace City of London

Devonshire Terrace has a range of spaces available for private dining events. Our private rooms can hold 8-80 guests for breakfast meetings or private lunches or dinners. For larger parties we can offer exclusive use of the entire venue and can then hold dinners for up to 160 guests. Excellent for company dinners and client lunches as well as big family get togethers and annual celebrations.

There are six distinct galleries available for evening hire. These are: The Thames Highway Gallery (reception 80, dinner 40); London Sugar and Slavery (reception 120); Docklands War (reception 100); Trade Expansion Gallery (reception 120, dinner 60); Sailortown, City and River (reception 200). They can be hired in isolation or in conjunction with other event spaces.

The Gun Docklands

If you're looking for a unique space for private dining in historic surroundings, look no further than The Cabin Room. Situated on the ground floor and seating up to 22 guests, the restored Cabin Room has oak-panelled walls, antique tankards and two large sash windows with views of the Thames.

A treasure trove of original features, interesting architecture and secret rail tunnels. Exposed brick work and vaulted ceilings provide perfect backdrops for filming and photoshoots.

Situated on the ground floor of the Armoury House, The Ante Room is an extremely attractive and airy meeting room with huge windows looking out onto the stunning Artillery Garden. Ideal for meetings, conferences, receptions, lunches and dinners, when used in conjunction with the Queen's Room across the hallway, one becomes the meeting room when the other is used for receptions or refreshment breaks.

How much do outdoor venues cost to hire in London?

This completely depends on the venue/location/event type/day of the week etc. Some will work on a minimum spend, which means you have to spend a certain amount on food and drink, whilst some will charge room hire and catering on top.

What happens if it rains during my event?

This does depend on the venue but most will have a back up wet weather option. Venues like HAC and Shoreditch Gardens put up a marquee just in case. It is worth speaking to the venue about this before you sign a contract or pay a deposit.
