Room hire rates vary significantly by day of the week. Days 2, 3 & 4 cost £2,300 VAT exempt per day, while Days 1 & 5 are £1,700 VAT exempt per day. Session times run from 8am to 5pm, with additional hours available at £300 VAT exempt per hour.
What is the minimum catering spend and what does it include?
There is a minimum catering spend of £3,000 plus VAT per day with a minimum of 30 people required. The daytime catering package costs £62.40 per person (minimum 40 people) and includes arrival refreshments, mid-morning break, two-course buffet lunch, afternoon refreshments, and water throughout the day.
What capacity limits apply for different meeting layouts?
The space accommodates up to 45 people in cabaret style or up to 60 people in theatre style. For smaller meetings requiring 20 people, rooms start from £1,500 VAT exempt per day with catering additional.
What AV equipment is included and what are the additional costs?
Standard AV includes a lectern with computer and Microsoft Office, microphones, 22" comfort monitor, switcher with HDMI inputs, 40" comfort monitor, 16:9 screen with LCD projection, 500MB wifi, and infrared induction loops. Additional AV technician costs £380 plus VAT, with extra microphones at £50 plus VAT each.
What are the overnight hold charges if equipment needs to remain setup?
Overnight hold rates are £1,140 VAT exempt per night for Day 1, and £1,550 VAT exempt per night for Days 2, 3, and 4. This allows you to keep your setup and materials in place between event days.
When are viewings available and how do I book one?

What catering options are available beyond the standard package?
Beyond the standard daytime package, catering is served on stations in the Marlborough foyer adjacent to the theatre. Menus are seasonal and subject to change without notice, with current menus available for Spring/Summer 2025.
