The Vanessa Bell Room is ideal for presentations, seminars or training days. Exceptionally well-equipped with all of the technology you might need for your event, it is able to accommodate up to 25 people if arranged theatre-style. However, as with our other rooms, we are more than happy to arrange the seating in whatever manner would suit you best. Arranged as a classroom, it holds 18; as a boardroom or mediation room, it holds 16 and as a courtroom 14.

Frequently asked questions

Medium rooms cost £365 + VAT per day and can accommodate various layouts. Large rooms are £655 + VAT per day for up to 40 people, while Premium Medium rooms cost £465 + VAT. The Vanessa Bell Room holds up to 25 people theatre-style, 18 classroom-style, 16 boardroom-style, or 14 courtroom-style.

Hot buffet lunch requires a minimum order of 10 people at £25.95 per person + VAT, even if your group is smaller. Cold buffet lunch is £25.95 per person + VAT with no minimum. Unlimited tea, coffee and snacks cost £10.95 per person + VAT, and assorted pastries are £7.95 per person + VAT.

Presentation screens cost £50 + VAT per day. Breakout rooms are £300 + VAT for all-day access and are mandatory if you order hot buffet catering. The in-house video conferencing package (including HD camera, laptop, speakers, mics, and tech support) costs £250 + VAT.

Payment is typically accepted over the phone after booking confirmation. Invoices are issued 1-2 days before the event, with payment processed the following day. Bank transfer payments can take up to 60 days to process, while phone payments are immediate.

The Vanessa Bell Room includes a 65" Touch Interactive Presentation Screen and built-in video conferencing capabilities. The optional in-house video conferencing package provides HD camera, hub laptop, speakers, tabletop mics, all-day tech support, and supports both Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings.

The courtyard area is available as private space only when you book a breakout room (£300 + VAT) in addition to your main room. The outdoor area is not available on all dates and must be confirmed at time of booking.

You must complete and return a signed booking form to confirm your reservation. The venue will hold space in their calendar during the booking process. For corporate clients, supplier setup in payment systems may be required, which can take several days to process.

The venue has a microwave available but no oven for food warming. You can request additional equipment like flipcharts on the day of your event. The venue provides comprehensive in-house catering options, though policies on external catering are not specified in available information.
