What are the room hire rates for different sized spaces?
Medium rooms cost £365 + VAT per day, Premium Medium rooms are £465 + VAT per day, and Large rooms are £655 + VAT per day. All rooms include basic setup and can accommodate various seating arrangements including boardroom, cabaret, and theatre style.
What are the mandatory catering minimums and pricing?
Hot buffet lunch requires a minimum order of 10 people at £25.95 per person + VAT, even if your group is smaller. Cold buffet lunch is £25.95 per person + VAT with no minimum. Unlimited tea, coffee and snacks cost £10.95 per person + VAT, and assorted pastries are £7.95 per person + VAT.
How much does AV equipment cost and what's included?
A presentation screen costs £50 + VAT. The in-house video conferencing package (including HD camera, hub laptop, speakers, tabletop mics, all-day tech support, and Zoom/Teams capability) costs £250 + VAT. The presentation screen is charged separately from the video conferencing package.
What are the costs for breakout rooms and additional spaces?
Breakout rooms cost £300 + VAT for all-day access and can be used for private calls or additional meeting space. If you book a breakout room with a main room, you also get private access to the courtyard area on certain dates.
What payment methods are accepted and what are the terms?
Payment can be made over the phone (card payment) or by bank transfer. Bank transfers can take up to 60 days to process. The venue currently experiences technical issues with card payments, so bank transfer may be the preferred option.
What is the booking process and when is payment required?
Complete the booking form to confirm your reservation. Invoices are typically issued 1-2 days before the event, and payment is processed via phone call on the day after invoice issue. The venue can hold space in their calendar while going through the booking process.
Can additional equipment like flipcharts be provided on short notice?
Yes, additional items like flipcharts can be arranged with advance notice. The venue is responsive to last-minute requests, as evidenced by their ability to provide three flipcharts when requested the day before an event.
What kitchen facilities are available for food preparation?
The venue has a microwave available but does not have an oven for warming food. If you need to heat food, you'll be limited to microwave-safe options only.
Are there restrictions on certain days for payment processing?
Payment over the phone is not available on Wednesdays or Fridays. If your event falls on these days, alternative payment arrangements (such as advance payment or bank transfer) will need to be made.
