What is the minimum number of guests required for dining bookings?
All dining bookings require a minimum of 50 people. Meeting spaces have a minimum of 30 people, but banqueting specifically requires 50 guests minimum to proceed with a booking.
What are the pricing options for dining events?
Day Delegate Rate starts from £53 per person for groups of 30 or more. All-inclusive dining packages are available at £76 per person including VAT, which covers room hire, glass of bubbly on arrival, 3-course seated meal, tea and coffee, staffing and security.
Can I bring my own external caterer for dining events?
External catering is not normally allowed on site. The venue works with contracted preferred caterers who handle both room hire and catering as part of their package, and you must use one of these approved partners rather than sourcing your own catering.
What dining spaces are available and what are their capacities?
The Diomed suite can accommodate up to 500 people in theatre style or 224 people in cabaret style for dining. The Oaks Hall can accommodate approximately 50 people, and there are stylish double boxes in the Queen's Stand suitable for intimate dining events.
Are there additional costs beyond the basic dining package?
Yes, wine can be added at £18.75 per person for half a bottle, or you can upgrade to high-end wine bottles. DJ and dance floor costs £400 plus VAT, and there may be additional charges for menu upgrades depending on your selections.
What kitchen facilities are available for large dining events?
Kitchen facilities in the largest halls cannot service seated capacity for very large numbers (over 500 seated guests). For events requiring 700 total guests with 500 seated, the kitchen facilities would not be adequate to handle this level of service.
What is included in the all-inclusive dining package?
The £76 per person package includes room hire, glass of bubbly on arrival, 3-course seated meal, tea and coffee, staffing and security, and complimentary car parking. Additional services like wine, entertainment, and menu upgrades are available at extra cost.
How do I book dining space with preferred caterers?
You must first choose from the venue's contracted catering partners who will quote for both room hire and catering as part of their package. Contact the caterers directly for quotes, availability and site visits, then organize the show round with your chosen caterer rather than booking directly with the venue.
