The Lammtarra Suite is the central room of our three inter-connected suites on the first floor of the brand new Duchess’s Stand. It is accompanied by the most spectacular views over the Downs.

It is an ideal space for a Office Party, Christmas Party or Dinner and is brilliantly suited for Cabaret, Theatre and Banquet layouts. We are more than able to cater for Corporate, Private and Charity Events.

Frequently asked questions

All meeting spaces and banqueting bookings require a minimum of 30 people for meetings and 50 people for banqueting events. Groups smaller than these minimums cannot be accommodated at the venue.

The Classic Day Delegate Rate starts from £53 per person plus VAT and includes main suite hire for the day, arrival tea and coffee with mini Danish pastries and fresh fruit, mid-morning tea and coffee with cookies, finger buffet lunch, mid-afternoon tea and coffee, jugs of iced water, projector and screen, flipchart and pens, complimentary Wi-Fi, complimentary car parking, and a dedicated event manager. A Premier DDR package is available at £64 plus VAT with enhanced catering options.

The venue does not operate on a pure dry hire basis and external catering is not normally allowed on site. You must use either the venue's in-house catering or one of their contracted preferred caterers who will quote for both room hire and catering as part of their package.

The Lammtarra Suite can accommodate up to 224 people in cabaret style seating and is suitable for theatre, banquet, and cabaret layouts. For larger events requiring 500+ people in theatre style, the Diomed suite is available, though kitchen facilities may limit seated capacity for very large numbers.

For events requiring additional spaces, there are extra room hire charges: the mezzanine area costs £1,000 plus VAT, breakout rooms range from £300-£1,800 plus VAT depending on size and capacity, and venue hire for catering spaces starts at £2,000 plus VAT. Some fees may be discounted when booking multiple spaces.

The Day Delegate Rate includes a projector and screen, flipchart and pens, and complimentary use of the built-in PA system. Additional AV equipment costs extra: lectern and microphone £90 plus VAT, standalone microphone £70 plus VAT, and medium stage £350 plus VAT.

All-inclusive dinner packages start at £67 per person including VAT, which includes exclusive party suite, non-alcoholic arrival drink, three-course menu, staffing and security, and complimentary car parking. For 2025 events, the all-inclusive package is £76 per person including VAT with glass of bubbly on arrival, and you can add half a bottle of wine per person for £18.75 plus VAT.

The venue cannot accommodate events requiring 700+ guests with 500+ seated due to kitchen capacity limitations. Events under 30 people for meetings or under 50 people for banqueting cannot be booked, and the venue will refer these enquiries to alternative venues.

The Lammtarra Suite includes air conditioning, dimmers and lighting controls, grey-out capabilities, sound system, 10x 13a power sockets, windows with spectacular views over the Downs, and access to a private terrace overlooking the racecourse. Tea and coffee facilities, WiFi, and stationery are also provided.

You must first decide which of the venue's contracted preferred caterers you want to use, then contact them directly for quotes, availability, and site visit requests. The caterers will quote for both room hire and catering as part of their package, and you must organize the show round with your chosen caterer rather than directly with the venue.
