The Lammtarra Suite is the central room of our three inter-connected suites on the first floor of the brand new Duchess' Stand. It is accompanied by the most spectacular views over the Downs.
It is an ideal space for a Conference, Presentation, Workshop, Team Building, Training or Networking event. Lammtarra is the perfect space for your Corporate Event.

What is the minimum number of guests required to book the Business space?
All meeting spaces at Epsom Downs Racecourse require a minimum of 30 people for bookings. This applies to both meeting room bookings and banqueting events.
What are the Day Delegate Rate packages and pricing?
Day Delegate Rate packages start from £53 per person plus VAT. The Classic DDR Package at £53+VAT includes main suite hire, arrival tea/coffee with pastries and fruit, mid-morning refreshments, finger buffet lunch, afternoon tea/coffee, water, projector and screen, flipchart and pens, Wi-Fi, car parking, and dedicated event manager.
Can I bring my own external catering to the venue?
The venue does not operate on a pure dry hire basis and external catering is not normally allowed on site. You must use either the venue's in-house catering or one of their contracted preferred caterers who will quote for both room hire and catering as part of their package.
What are the capacity limits for different room configurations?
The Diomed suite can accommodate up to 500 people in theatre style and up to 224 people in cabaret style. The venue has indicated they cannot accommodate events requiring 700 guests with 500 seated due to kitchen facility limitations.
Are there additional room hire fees beyond the Day Delegate Rate?
Yes, there are additional room hire fees depending on the spaces used. Examples include mezzanine area hire at £1,000 ex VAT, breakout room combinations ranging from £300-£1,800 per room, and catering space hire at £2,000 ex VAT for larger events.
What AV equipment is included and what are the additional costs?
Basic AV includes projector, screen, built-in PA system, flipchart and pens as part of the DDR package. Additional equipment costs extra: lectern and microphone £90, standalone microphone £70, medium stage £350 (all prices exclude VAT).

Are there restrictions on event sizes or types that cannot be accommodated?
The venue cannot accommodate events under 30 people or events requiring more than 500 seated guests due to kitchen capacity limitations. Events requiring 700+ total capacity with significant seated dining are typically declined due to operational constraints.
