The Quayside Room is located on the third floor of London Museum Docklands and overlooks the Canary Wharf skyline. The bare brick walls provide a blank canvas for evening receptions and dinners. With full AV equipment, the space is also one of the best conference venues in London.




Frequently asked questions

The Wilberforce Room costs £2,450-£3,000 + VAT per day and accommodates up to 150 cabaret/180 dinner/250 theatre style. The Riverside Room costs £2,000-£2,350 + VAT per day for up to 100 cabaret/theatre or 250 standing reception, with private terrace access. The Quayside Room is £1,200-£1,300 + VAT per day for 55 theatre/40 cabaret layout. The Docklands Boardroom accommodates 20 people boardroom style for £750-£820 + VAT per day.

All rooms include projector, screen, PA system with 1 handheld mic, and Wi-Fi at no extra charge. Additional services cost extra: AV technician £250-£350 + VAT, extra microphones £50 + VAT each, stage setup £500-£600 + VAT, and additional uplighters £25 + VAT each (4 uplighters included free).

Standard daytime events run 9:00am-5:00pm with 8:00am access for setup. Evening events typically run 6:30pm-11:00pm or 6:00pm-midnight. Christmas packages run 6:30pm-11:00pm with 1-hour early access to Sailortown included.

Bovingdons is the in-house caterer for London Museum Docklands. Daytime packages start from £50 + VAT per person including three tea/coffee services, lunch buffet, and refreshments. Christmas packages start from £107 + VAT per person at Docklands, with minimum numbers typically required at 150 people for evening events.

The maximum capacity is 250 people in theatre style (Wilberforce Room) or 240 people seated across the venue. For larger events up to 350 people standing, you can hire multiple rooms together such as the Muscovado Hall and Riverside Room combination for £7,600 + VAT, which includes terrace access.
