The Cellar

Steeped in history we are proud of this room's story. The foundation stone sits here, laid by the then Prime Minster William Gladstone in 1884. According to local legend, a passage once ran from The Cellar to the houses of Parliament and Ministry of Defence. A room for curious minds, it's perfect for unique private dining

The Reading & Writing Room on the 2nd floor of One Whitehall Place overlooks the River Thames, London Eye & Whitehall gardens. The room displays magnificent faience tiling, and has a built in parquet dance floor under the carpet. It can be used for a drinks reception up to 250 standing and seated dinner for 150 people. Used in conjunction with the interconnecting Gladstone Library, the rooms provide an exquisite flexible combination of rooms for your Christmas party or any event for up to 250 dinner dance.

The Waterloo Suite

The River Room on 2nd floor of One Whitehall Place offers a stunning backdrop to your business event. With views over Whitehall Gardens, London Eye and River Thames, the wooden-panelled River Room is perfect for a range of events including meetings, seminars and dinners and receptions. This can be hired as one room, or in conjunction with the Gladstone Library, Reading & Writing Room, Meston Suite and Churchill's for exclusive use events of the 2nd floor

The Gladstone Library on the 2nd floor of One Whitehall Place offers a very special event space. Once housing over 25,000 books, the Grade I listed Gladstone Library is perfect for any type of conference, drinks reception, Christmas party or dinner seating up to 250 people. The Library interlinks directly with the Reading & Writing Room, which offers views over Whitehall Gardens, London Eye and River Thames allowing you further flexible space for your event.
