The Woburn Foyer is a great space to hold an event, whether you want to host a Christmas party, a corporate reception, an exhibition, or a product launch. The foyer is adjacent to the great hall and the Woburn Conference Centre's reception area, so it gets plenty of traffic, and numerous people will see your displays and materials. With a capacity for 80 guests, it's a great area for a standing canapes reception, and there's even room for entertainment. We offer superior catering, and our staff is friendly and always willing to do a bit extra to provide a successful event.

The venue offers two main pricing structures: Day Delegate packages starting at £74 + VAT per person (discounted from £89 + VAT, saving £15 per person) for 8:30am-5pm, or room hire at £3,570 + VAT for the same timeframe. The Day Delegate package can be extended to 6pm, and room hire rates also apply until 6pm at the same £3,570 + VAT rate.
What capacity limits apply to the Woburn Hall for different seating arrangements?
Woburn Hall can accommodate up to 112 people in cabaret style or 180 people in theatre style. The venue is a fully equipped flat-floored space that allows for flexible layouts depending on your event requirements.
What AV equipment and technical support is included as standard?
Standard equipment includes: 1 Windows PC (built into lectern), 1 x 42" comfort monitor, purpose-built brandable stage set, 2 x 65" side screens, LED backlighting in your choice of color, 4 LED stage spotlights, Yamaha TF-3 digital mixing desk, lectern microphones, up to 5 top table microphones, up to 4 handheld microphones, Roland V-800 vision mixer, high-speed Wi-Fi, hearing loop, and flipchart. In-house AV technical support is included, but a dedicated technician costs an additional £400 + VAT.
What are the costs for additional AV services like streaming and lapel microphones?
Professional streaming, virtual and hybrid events using the 2 PTZ camera system cost £1,250 + VAT. Up to 5 digital lapel microphones are available but require a dedicated AV technician at £400 + VAT (this technician fee applies to any service requiring dedicated support).
What drinks packages are available and at what cost?
A 1-hour drinks package with unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks costs £15 + VAT per person. To include Prosecco, the cost increases to £18 + VAT per person. Drinks packages are quoted in contracts but only added to bookings upon confirmation.
Can I book additional rooms for breakout sessions or private meetings?
Yes, additional rooms like the Bloomsbury Room can be added for specific time slots (e.g., 4-6pm) sometimes at no additional charge depending on availability and circumstances. The venue has various smaller rooms available for judges' deliberations, breakout sessions, or private meetings during your main event.
What is the booking process and how long can dates be held?
The venue can hold dates on a 7-day option while you make your decision. Once you're ready to proceed, you'll need to provide a Purchase Order (PO), after which you'll receive a signable confirmation document to finalize the booking.
What are the standard event hours and can they be extended?
Standard event hours are 8:30am-5pm, but this can be extended to 6pm at the same pricing. The venue appears flexible with timing adjustments based on client needs, and early access may be available for setup requirements.
What catering is included in the Day Delegate package?
The Day Delegate package includes arrival tea, coffee and pastries, 2 servings of tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day, a chef's choice 2-course fork buffet lunch served with tea and coffee, unlimited filtered water, and pads and pencils. A sustainable option is also available for £77 + VAT featuring locally sourced vegetarian/vegan lunch.
Are there any restrictions on external food and beverages?
No external food and beverages are allowed in the venue as this is contracted with their in-house caterers. All catering must be provided through Woburn House's catering services.
