How long can I hold a space without confirming, and what are the booking deadlines?
The venue typically holds spaces for 2-3 weeks maximum before releasing them. You may receive 24-hour deadlines to confirm or release your booking, and some bookings require signed contracts and payment by specific dates (such as 28 days before events in June).
Can I use external suppliers and what restrictions apply?
You can bring your own AV company for setup, and external caterers may be permitted in some circumstances. The venue has preferred suppliers for team building (emma@gotoevents.co.uk), gin masterclass (laura@aokevents.com), and cricket experiences (info@ballsportz.co.uk). You should confirm external supplier policies when booking.
What restrictions apply during cricket matches and game days?
Event spaces are unavailable during T20 fixtures and cricket matches - these dates require hospitality bookings instead starting at £149pp +VAT. You cannot book regular event space when cricket is being played, so check the cricket calendar when planning your event dates.
What payment terms apply and when do I need to pay?
The venue requires the contracted amount to be paid before they will hand over coordination to your event coordinator. For events close to the date, you may need signed contracts and full payment within specific timeframes, such as by the 28th of the month for June events.
