The Conservatory
The Conservatory, located on level 3 of the Barbican, is a truly unique tropical oasis hidden away in the City of London. All elements of the Conservatory are fully working, from the plants to the fish ponds. Should you require any props, or equipment, the goods lift is accessible between 8 am and 8 pm. Standard 13amp power is available, if you require something else, we can arrange a quote for other power. Cinema 1
Recently refurbished and voted the most comfortable cinema in London, Cinema 1 boasts state of the art data and video projection supported by the Barbican's in-house technical team. A new feature in Cinema 1 is the ability to suit the room to the client's needs by colour washing the room with colours of their choosing. Cinema 1 is also the ideal venue for private film screenings, and can be combined with a dinner or drinks in the Garden Room and Conservatory.

Frobisher Auditorium 2 offers raked seating, excellent sight lines, and facilities for video and data projection, making it ideal for hosting film screenings. This event space is located on the Frobisher floor and is adjacent to 6 individual Frobisher rooms, a dedicated boardroom, and our stunning catering areas.

The Conservatory Terrace overlooks the tropical treetops of the Conservatory, providing a magical setting for Christmas parties, summer parties, and corporate parties. This space can host up to 200 guests, or it can be combined with the Conservatory and Garden Room to host up to 650 guests.

Frobisher Auditorium 1 is located adjacent to the Frobisher Rooms, ensuring that both syndicate and catering areas are just a short walk away. Frobisher Auditorium 1 is the ideal venue for conferences, meetings and training days. On-site technical support is available. There is the ability to stage video conferencing and satellite links, offerings all the supplies needed to stage even the most demanding conferencing event. There are four simultaneous translation booths which include the service of a fully dedicated technician. There is full integrated stage lighting and sound rigs.

With its superb technical resources, intelligent design and excellent acoustics, Barbican Hall is justifiably acknowledged as one of the country's finest auditoriums for events. The seating is fixed and tiered. There is room for up to 1943 guests in this auditorium. There are excellent sight lines so everyone has a great view of the stage. Air conditioning and cushioned seats ensures all guests will remain comfortable throughout the duration of the your event. The Barbican Hall is perfect for hosting corporate conferences, AGMs, graduations, and product launches.

The Frobisher rooms are ideal spaces for both smaller meetings and syndicate work, with 6 individual conference suites each seating up to 50 delegates in theatre style or 16 delegates in boardroom style. The suites are separated by removable sound proofed partitioning, allowing complete flexibility in combining these rooms to create larger flat floored spaces. When all partitioning are removed 2 large rooms accommodating up to 170 delegates in theatre style or 100 in classroom style each are created. There is a built in projector screen and a LCD projector to make giving presentations easy.

The Garden Room adjoins directly to the Conservatory, the space can seat up to 200 guests for a wedding breakfast or wedding reception. The Garden Room has floor-to-ceiling windows, showcasing fantastic views of the city skyline, Barbican Lakeside, and St Giles Church. It also has a state-of-the-art lighting system, so it is an excellent choice to host the evening reception, after the ceremony in the Conservatory, for the post-dinner dancing.

Located in their own building on Beech Street, Cinemas 2 & 3 provide a private entrance and dedicated registration desk and cloakroom facilities. Offering stage lighting, PA system, microphones and Wi-Fi, the cinemas boast the security and facilities for a London cinema film location.

Need a fully equipped meeting space at short notice? Frobisher Boardroom is designed to provide everything you need for a successful, creative meeting. Spacious, dedicated boardroom with at its centre a versatile 'Congress' table flanked by comfortable leather armchairs. The table can be adapted to various configurations in minutes and allows presenters to choose a room layout totally appropriate to their needs. There is a projector screen, a LCD projector, and a fully integrated audio visual system to make giving presentations easy.

Whilst seating 1154 people, it is an unusually intimate space with no seat located more than 20 metres from the stage and excellent sight lines for all delegates. There is a dedicated personnel to help you get the most out of your experience of booking in the theatre. There is state-of-the-art audio visual equipment available for usage. A professional kitchen can provide catering by Searcys and Halal catering is available upon request. The Barbican Theatre is disabled accessible. This space is well-suited to hosting conferences, award ceremonies, or private events.

The Barbican Centre was developed in the Brutalist style of architecture. It is a performing arts centre, the largest of its kind in Europe. The Barbican Centre was built after Barbican Estate which is a housing complex situated in an area that was bombed heavily in WWII. The centre holds theatre performances, film screenings, music concerts, and art exhibitions. As well as being a world class arts venue, the Barbican Centre also boasts one it's very own tropical Conservatory, which is one of the most unusual venues in London for weddings.
