Located in their own building on Beech Street Cinemas 2 & 3 boast an intimate yet stylish interior as well as state-of-the-art technology, AV facilities and a dedicated private entrance, private registration and cloakroom facilities.

Cinema 1 has a total capacity of 280 people in a raked auditorium style with fixed seating. The venue is located on Level -2 and features a traditional cinema layout suitable for film screenings and presentations.

Cinema 1 includes a 34,000lms 4K DLP Cinema Projector with 1920 x 1080 50i HD resolution, cinema screen, PA system, 3 cabled microphones, Wi-Fi, full use of house lighting system, and a dedicated technician for sound and lighting. All technical equipment is included in the hire rate.

Day hire runs 08:30-17:00 and evening hire runs 17:30-23:00, with tenancy times including setup and de-rig. The venue recommends 1.5 hours for setup and 30 minutes for de-rig, and additional hours can be arranged by speaking to your sales contact.

Yes, the Garden Room & Conservatory can be hired alongside Cinema 1 for catering and networking. Evening hire for this space costs £8,100+VAT with a separate minimum catering spend of £5,000+VAT, providing 450 reception capacity.

A signed contract is required along with invoice payment, which must be paid prior to the event going ahead. The venue requires both the contract signature and payment to be completed before confirming the booking.

The Barbican Centre was developed in the Brutalist style of architecture. It is a performing arts centre, the largest of its kind in Europe. The Barbican Centre was built after Barbican Estate which is a housing complex situated in an area that was bombed heavily in WWII. The centre holds theatre performances, film screenings, music concerts, and art exhibitions.
