The Conservatory, located on level 3 of the Barbican, is a truly unique tropical oasis hidden away in the City of London. All elements of the Conservatory are fully working, from the plants to the fish ponds. Should you require any props, or equipment, the goods lift is accessible between 8 am and 8 pm. Standard 13amp power is available, if you require something else, we can arrange a quote for other power. It is the perfect venue for presentations, corporate meetings, and private film screenings - during the recent refurbishment, the auditorium lighting has been adapted to suit clients requirements and now enables us to colourwash the walls and ceiling in any corporate colours required. On-site technical support and the capacity to stage video conferencing and satellite links, allows you to stage the most innovated events possible. Cinema 1 claims three simultaneous translation booths, fully-integrated stage lighting and two sound rigs that can be adapted to the needs of each client.
Frobisher Auditorium 2

Frobisher Auditorium 2 comes complete with full technical support, lighting, sound, and presentation facilities. The raked seating makes for excellent sight lines and are complete with retractable writing tablets. For groups of 80 or more, Frobisher Auditorium 2 may be a suitable alternative to the conference suites. Frobisher Auditorium 2 is located on the Frobisher floor adjacent to 6 individual Frobisher rooms, a dedicated boardroom and our stunning catering areas. The auditorium has a dedicated technician and facilities for video and data projection.
Conservatory Terrace

With its superb technical resources, intelligent design and excellent acoustics, Barbican Hall is justifiably acknowledged as one of the country's finest auditoriums for events. The seating is fixed and tiered. There is room for up to 1943 guests in this auditorium. There are excellent sight lines so everyone has a great view of the stage. Air conditioning and cushioned seats ensures all guests will remain comfortable throughout the duration of the your event. Frobisher Rooms

The Frobisher rooms are ideal spaces for both smaller meetings and syndicate work, with 6 individual conference suites each seating up to 50 delegates in theatre style or 16 delegates in boardroom style. The suites are separated by removable sound proofed partitioning, allowing complete flexibility in combining these rooms to create larger flat floored spaces. When all partitioning are removed 2 large rooms accommodating up to 170 delegates in theatre style or 100 in classroom style each are created. There is a built in projector screen and a LCD projector to make giving presentations easy.
The Garden Room
Capacity: Up to 300 Reception guests

The Garden Room adjoins directly to the Conservatory, the space can seat up to 200 guests for a wedding breakfast or wedding reception. The Garden Room has floor-to-ceiling windows, showcasing fantastic views of the city skyline, Barbican Lakeside, and St Giles Church. It also has a state-of-the-art lighting system, so it is an excellent choice to host the evening reception, after the ceremony in the Conservatory, for the post-dinner dancing.
Cinemas 2 & 3

Located in their own building on Beech Street Cinemas 2 & 3 boast an intimate yet stylish interior as well as state-of-the-art technology, AV facilities and a dedicated private entrance, private registration and cloakroom facilities. Opening in September 2026, the Lakeside Room is a new, flexible space suitable for receptions, meetings, private dining, Christmas parties, product launches, and conferences of up to 120 delegates.
