Standard venue hire is £10,000 per day, but reduced rates are available (typically £5,000-£6,000) depending on event size and type. The hire includes all AV equipment (10x 55-inch TVs, bespoke lighting, PA system, handheld microphone), uniformed SIA security staff, cloakroom attendants, all furniture, glassware, and staff. Multi-day bookings receive further discounts (£5,000 per day for 7-day hire).
What are the capacity limits for different event layouts?
Maximum capacity is 450 standing (excluding staff), 360 for dinner/dance events, and 200-300 for theatre-style seating. The venue has fixed casual seating for 168 people in the 10 alcoves. Each alcove measures 7m x 3.5m and can accommodate intimate gatherings or breakout sessions.
What are the licensing hours and restrictions?
The venue has a 00:00 (midnight) licence Monday to Thursday and Sunday (23:00 on Sundays), extending to 00:30 on Friday and Saturday nights. De-rig must be completed before 21:00 or the following morning due to landlord restrictions.
What food packages are available and at what cost?
Food packages include: 6 canapés per person £35, 10 canapés per person £45, 5 bowl/street food options £55, 3-course lunch/dinner £90, and DDR (tea/coffee and lunch) £77 per person. All food is prepared by a Michelin-trained chef in the full-service in-house kitchen.
What drinks packages and bar options are offered?
Drinks packages include: 3 hours of beer/wine/soft drinks £35 per head, open bar £25 per person per hour, prosecco reception £25 per head for 45 minutes, and beer/wine/soft drinks £10 per head per hour. A paid bar is available for drinks outside package inclusions.
What AV and technical equipment is provided?
Included AV comprises 10x 55-inch TVs (2 on mobile stands), bespoke venue lighting throughout, in-house PA system, handheld microphone, 32amp 3-phase power, 72x 13amp & USB points, and strong private internet connection. An in-house creative production team and technical operator are available at additional charge.
Is the venue suitable for smaller groups and what are the minimum requirements?
The venue is designed for larger events and may not be cost-effective for small groups. For 35 people, management noted the venue would be "way too big" with the £10,000 daily hire representing a high cost per person. The venue works best for groups of 75+ people.
What setup and access arrangements are available?
Setup access is typically available from 4:00 PM for evening events.
