The Riverside Room, which is located on the right side of the Muscovado Hall as you enter the museum, benefits from its own entrance and private terrace meaning guests can enjoy the Canary Wharf skyline, as well as the stunning atmosphere of the quayside.

With exposed brick walls and original wooden columns and floors, the Riverside Room provides a unique backdrop for receptions of up to 300 guests and 180 for a dinner dance. The private terrace has additional capacity for 350 standing.

Daytime packages start from £50 + VAT per person and include multiple tea/coffee services, buffet lunch, and refreshments.

Standard event hire runs from 9:00-17:00, though evening events can extend to 23:00. Christmas packages typically run 18:30-23:00. Access for setup can begin from 8:00-8:30am. The venue staff work Monday to Thursday 9:30am-5:15pm, with Friday inquiries handled via the general venue hire email.
