What are the capacity limits for each meeting room?
Studio I accommodates meetings with Daily Delegate Rate pricing, while Studio II can host up to 20 people in boardroom style or accommodate larger groups depending on setup. The Private Dining Room has a maximum capacity of 14 people for £750, making it suitable for smaller executive meetings or intimate business dinners.
What AV equipment is included and what additional costs apply?
Both Studio I and Studio II include LCD projector and screen/plasma, 1 flip chart, and basic connectivity for laptops. The DDR package includes all standard AV equipment in the £150 per person rate. Additional AV requirements can be sourced through external companies or the venue's preferred partner Elements AV at additional cost.
What catering is included in the Daily Delegate Rate and what are the alternatives?
The £150 DDR includes arrival tea/coffee (served in the Balcony area), AM coffee breaks, working lunch with soft drinks, PM coffee break, unlimited water, plus sweets, notepad, pens and flowers on table. For events not using DDR, set menu dining starts at £85 per person, with breakfast options at £35 per person in the Private Dining Room.
What are the standard operating hours and any restrictions?
Meeting spaces are typically available from 08:00-17:00 for DDR bookings. Extended hours may require additional room hire supplements, such as the £3,000 setup fee mentioned for 14:00-18:00 access. The venue operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm for reservations and event coordination.
What deposit and cancellation policies apply to business bookings?
Business bookings require a credit card guarantee which can be completed over the phone. A 7-day cancellation policy applies to Private Dining Room bookings. The venue does not hold space without confirmation, and first option holds are provided with specific deadlines (such as until January 21st for February events).
Are there any mandatory additional costs beyond the quoted rates?
A 13.5% service charge applies to minimum spend bookings. For basement events serving alcohol with 70+ guests, security personnel are mandatory at £26.40 per hour per person, with 4 personnel required for 6 hours minimum for groups of 70-110 people. All prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

Initial proposals are provided via interactive e-proposals through Marriott's booking system. The Private Dining Room offers breakfast at £35 per person (£700 minimum spend) and dinner at £85 per person (£2,500 minimum spend) for up to 12 guests comfortably. Guests can select dishes on the day from sample menus provided. The venue also offers £45 per person lunch options for meeting packages.
