ESCape Breakout Area at CodeNode

CodeNode requires a minimum budget of approximately £1,000 for events. Events with budgets below this threshold are typically not accepted, as indicated when a 40-person event with a £1,000 budget was declined as not being a good match for the venue.

The Alt/Tab Room costs £5,000 + VAT per day (9am-6pm) and accommodates up to 96 people in cabaret layout with basic AV equipment included. Full venue exclusive hire is available at £20,000 + VAT, which includes access to six modern event spaces, reception area, and networking areas from 8am-5pm.

The Alt/Tab Room holds up to 96 people in cabaret layout and 150 people in theatre style. For larger events, the main CTRL Room can accommodate 250-400 people depending on layout, while the ESCape breakout area provides additional networking and exhibition space.

Basic AV equipment is included with room hire, featuring projection screens, stage lighting, PA system with 8 microphones, and uplighters. Enhanced audio packages start at £750 per room per day, while full-day AV packages for the main space cost £4,000-£5,000 + VAT including additional microphones, comfort monitors, and technical support.

Standard venue access is 9am-6pm, with events typically running 9am-5pm. Early access from 7am-8am costs £1,000 + VAT, while evening access until 6pm-7pm may be waived with drinks packages or charged separately depending on the event requirements.

CodeNode works with preferred caterer Easy Gourmet rather than providing in-house catering. Full-day delegate rates (DDR) start from £32 + VAT per person, with premium options at £40-£60 + VAT per person including breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks throughout the day.

CodeNode has a fully licensed SPACEBAR managed by venue staff. Drinks packages cost £20 + VAT per person for 1-hour packages and £30 + VAT per person for 2-hour packages, including unlimited beer, cider, wine, and soft drinks.

The ESCape area can accommodate up to 30 exhibitor tables with basic power provided for stands. The venue offers extensive branding opportunities including digital gobos (£400 + VAT per disc), tension fabric banners, and space for pull-up banners and signage throughout the venue.

Full venue hire includes six modern event spaces, reception area, ESCape networking area with ping pong and foosball tables, private green room (Backspace), catering preparation area (Fn), cloakroom space (Capslock), and water coolers throughout. The venue also features a large loading bay with goods lift for easy equipment access.

Initial enquiries are handled by the venue sales team who provide quotes and arrange site visits for interested clients. The venue requires confirmation of guest numbers, budget, and specific requirements before providing detailed proposals, with quotes typically valid for standard booking terms.
