CMD is CodeNode's second largest breakout meeting room, offering an intimate learning and collaboration environment to groups up to 120 attendees. The room features two high-spec, ceiling-mounted projectors and lectern - everything you need for seamless presentations and interactive workshops. With direct access to the central ESCape breakout area, CMD strikes the perfect balance between focused learning and relaxed networking.

Frequently asked questions

CodeNode requires a minimum budget of £1,000 for events. Events with budgets below this threshold are not considered suitable for the venue, as indicated when a 40-person event with a £1,000 budget was declined.

The Alt/Tab Room accommodates up to 96 people in cabaret layout at £5,000 + VAT per day (9am-6pm), including basic AV equipment. For larger events, the Ctrl Room is available at £12,000 + VAT per day, and exclusive venue hire is offered at £20,000 + VAT for full access to all six event spaces.

Standard venue hire operates from 9am to 6pm. Early access from 7am-8am costs £1,000 + VAT, and evening access from 6pm-7pm is typically £1,000 + VAT (though this may be waived with drinks packages).

Basic AV equipment is included with room hire, but comprehensive packages are available separately. The Ctrl Room Audio Package costs £4,000 + VAT per day and includes large screens, full PA system, 8 microphones, stage lighting, uplighters, comfort monitors, and technical support. Breakout room audio packages start at £750 + VAT per room per day.

CodeNode recommends Easy Gourmet for catering, with Day Delegate Rates (DDR) starting from £32 + VAT per person for basic packages, up to £59.99 + VAT per person for comprehensive packages including breakfast, lunch, tea breaks, and equipment. Drinks packages range from £20 + VAT per person for 1-hour packages to £30 + VAT per person for 2-hour unlimited packages.

CodeNode can accommodate conferences up to 400-500 people through exclusive venue hire. The main Ctrl Room handles 300+ in theatre style, with additional breakout spaces available. For events requiring 400+ capacity, multiple spaces are used simultaneously with the ESCape breakout area providing additional networking and exhibition space.

Exhibition space is available in the ESCape breakout area, which can accommodate up to 30 exhibitor tables. This space is included in exclusive venue hire packages or can be hired separately. Basic power is provided for exhibitor stands, and the venue has a large loading bay with goods lift for easy equipment delivery.

CodeNode specializes in technology-focused events including conferences, seminars, exhibitions, E-Sports, and Hackathons. The venue requires advance booking for site visits and quotes, and events must meet the minimum budget threshold of £1,000. All pricing is subject to 20% VAT.

Venue hire includes reliable WiFi, whiteboards and power sockets throughout, water coolers, furniture, recreational facilities (ping pong tables, foosball), and access to the fully licensed SpaceBar. The venue also provides an experienced events team, loading bay access, and can accommodate cloakroom services in the Capslock room.

Events should be booked well in advance, with the venue offering site visits to potential clients. The booking process involves initial enquiry, followed by detailed discussions about requirements, site visits if needed, and formal quotation.
