What is the maximum capacity for different event layouts in Alt/Tab?

Standard venue access is 9am-6pm. Early access from 8am costs £1,000 + VAT for one hour, and late access until 7pm costs £1,000 + VAT for one hour. Setup the evening before is available for a 3-hour window for AV testing and preparation.

What AV equipment is included and what are the costs for additional packages?

Basic AV includes two projectors and power sockets throughout. Enhanced audio packages start at £750 + VAT per day for breakout rooms, including 4 microphones, small PA system, basic lighting, and presentation screens. Full production packages with additional microphones, staging, and recording capabilities cost £2,000-£4,000 + VAT per day.

What catering options are available and at what cost?

CodeNode recommends Easy Gourmet for catering, with full-day delegate rates (DDR) starting from £32 + VAT per person. This typically includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks. Two-hour drinks packages cost £20-£30 + VAT per person, and canapé packages start at £29.50 + VAT per person for 4 pieces.

Is there a minimum budget requirement for events?

Yes, CodeNode has indicated they are not suitable for events with budgets under £1,000. Based on the pricing structure, most single-day events in Alt/Tab will cost £2,400 + VAT minimum for room hire alone, before adding catering, AV, or other services.

What are the booking and payment procedures?

Bookings require initial enquiry with event details including date, capacity, layout preferences, and budget. The venue team provides quotes and can arrange site visits. Payment terms and deposit requirements are confirmed during the booking process, with final details arranged through the dedicated account management team.

Can external suppliers be used and are there any restrictions?

External AV suppliers can be brought in, with venue support for setup and operation. The venue has a large loading bay and goods lift for easy access when delivering event materials, banners, or installations. What are the costs for full venue exclusive hire?

Exclusive hire of the entire CodeNode venue is available at £20,000 + VAT (£24,000 including VAT) for 8am-5pm access. This includes all six event spaces, reception area, networking areas, built-in AV in the main CTRL room, furniture, recreational facilities, and support from the events team.
