Reading & Writing Room

The Reading & Writing Room on 2nd floor of One Whitehall Place and overlooks the River Thames, London Eye & Whitehall gardens. The room displays magnificent faience tiling, and has a built in parquet dance floor under the carpet. It can be used for a wedding ceremony for up to 130 people, drinks receptions up to 250 standing and seated wedding breakfast for 130 people. Used in conjunction with the interconnecting Gladstone Library, the rooms provide an exquisite flexible combination of rooms for your wedding. Bespoke wedding packages are available to enable you to design your day.

The Waterloo Suite

The Meston Suite overlooks some of Whitehall's finest architecture. With its whites walls and magnificent floor to ceiling windows. The Meston Suite is flooded with natural daylight. An architectural jewel that lends itself to all types of events including drinks reception and baby shower afternoon teas.

River Room

The River Room on 2nd floor of One Whitehall Place offers a stunning backdrop to your drinks reception or private dinner. With views over Whitehall Gardens, London Eye and River Thames, the wooden-panelled River Room is perfect for formal and informal dinner parties. This can be hired as one room, or in conjunction with other rooms on the 2nd floor for exclusive use

Gladstone Library

The Gladstone Library on the 2nd floor of One Whitehall Place offers a very special licensed event room accommodating up to 220 people for ceremony, and 220 for wedding breakfast. The Library interlinks directly with the Reading & Writing Room which accommodates up to 120 for ceremony or wedding breakfast, or 250 for drinks reception and offers views over Whitehall Gardens, London Eye and River Thames. Wedding packages are available with our internal catering, and can also be offered as a dry hire venue with external caterers for Indian and Kosher cuisine.
