The Barnard Room hire rate is £1,400 VAT exempt for weekday events or £1,750 VAT exempt for evening events from 6pm-10pm. Weekend rates start from £7,175 VAT exempt (2pm-midnight). Access for organizers is provided 15 minutes before the hire period begins.

The Barnard Room can accommodate private dining on either a single long table or round tables for more relaxed conversation. The room works well for intimate dining experiences, though specific maximum numbers aren't detailed in available information.

To proceed with booking, you must provide full signatory details, organization information, contact details, and address. A 50% deposit invoice is sent upon receipt of the signed hire agreement. Payment should only be made after receiving the invoice with the proper invoice number quoted.

Searcys can design bespoke menus and accommodate halal or South Asian inspired catering, though they note they are not specialized in South Asian catering. The venue offers vegetarian/vegan options as standard with all three-course dinner packages.

Access for organizers begins 15 minutes before the hire period (e.g., 5:15pm for 6pm events). For wedding celebrations, supplier setup access is available from 12pm with events running from 2pm until midnight. Earlier access at 7:30am may be possible for presentation setup with advance arrangement.

The venue offers a winter discount of £1,000 off venue hire for weddings taking place in October or November 2025. For last-minute bookings, discounts of up to 20% on venue hire may be available. December bookings operate on a first-to-confirm basis due to high demand.
