Frequently asked questions

The Lecture Room costs £1,100 VAT exempt for a 9am-12:30pm session with organizer access from 8:15am. Extended sessions and different timing arrangements are available - contact the venue to discuss alternative schedules and pricing for your specific requirements.

The Lecture Room can accommodate up to 75 guests in theatre style seating or cabaret style arrangements. The space features double-height ceilings, is pillar-free, and has abundant natural daylight, making it suitable for various conference layouts.

The Lecture Room includes an impressive LED display wall, lectern, computer, and fixed lectern microphone as standard. Basic AV packages with up to two microphones are available, with upgrades including up to 4 microphones with a sit-in technician, and optional staging for £350 + VAT.

Refreshments include tea & coffee (£3.75 + VAT pp), tea, coffee & biscuits (£4.50 + VAT pp), or tea, coffee & pastries (£6.50 + VAT pp). Breakfast options range from £6.50-£15.75 + VAT pp with a minimum of 10 guests, and lunch options from £25.00 + VAT pp for sandwich lunches.

Yes, there is a £300 + VAT per hour catering fee for service required before 8am. The standard venue hire includes access from 8:15am, so any setup or catering needed earlier will incur this additional hourly charge.

The venue has a detailed list of Approved Suppliers for Audio Visual, Production, and Floristry, plus Recommended suppliers available on their website. Use of any third-party suppliers outside this approved list must be agreed in writing by the venue before booking.

Upon receipt of the signed hire agreement, a 50% deposit invoice will be sent. You must wait to receive this invoice before making payment as you'll need to quote the invoice number. If a PO number is required, it must be provided before the deposit invoice is generated to avoid booking confirmation delays.

To process bookings, you'll need to provide: full name of signatory, organisation, signatory email/telephone/address, and finance contact details if different. The venue will retain contact details for enquiries, and additional details may be requested to finalize the booking effectively.

The Lecture Room includes air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, and is located on the lower ground floor. An unmanned cloakroom is complimentary with coat rails provided, while manned cloakroom service is available at an additional cost upon request.

The venue operates on a first-to-confirm basis, particularly during busy periods like December. Contact details must be provided promptly - for example, one booking required contact details by 2pm the same day to secure the date. Early enquiry and quick response are essential for securing preferred dates.
