What are the capacity limits for different event formats in each space?
Princess Alexandra Hall accommodates 80 guests cabaret style, 100 on round tables, or 150 theatre style. Hall of India & Pakistan seats 80-120 on round tables or 150 standing reception. The Garden holds 120 guests standing with partial hire available for 40 guests. Brabourne Room combined with Garden offers 120 guest capacity.
What are the access times and restrictions for events?
Access times vary by space and event type: most daytime events allow access from 08:00-17:00, evening events typically 18:00-23:00, and Garden events can run 14:00-22:00 or 18:00-22:00. All spaces must be fully vacated by the specified end time. Setup and breakdown time is included within these access periods.
What wedding packages are available and what do they include?
The Lily Wedding Package costs £244 plus VAT per guest with a 30-guest minimum. It includes one hour sparkling wine reception, 8 canapés, three-course dinner with tea/coffee, half bottle house wine, champagne toast, white linen, silver cake stand and knife, room hire for Garden and Princess Alexandra Hall (18:00-23:00), and event management. Entertainment is charged separately.
What are the payment terms and booking requirements?
A signed contract and deposit of 100% of room hire and minimum catering spend (or 100% of package price based on minimum numbers) is required within one week of confirmation. Written confirmation must include contact details for contract and invoicing plus billing address. A discretionary 12.5% service charge applies to all food and beverage.
What catering packages and pricing are available for corporate events?
Day Delegate packages range from £85-£143 plus VAT per person with 80-100 guest minimums, including arrival refreshments, breaks, lunch, room hire and AV equipment. Dinner packages start at £137-£140 plus VAT per person with 60-70 guest minimums. Summer BBQ/Pizza menus range £160-£190 plus VAT per person with 60-guest minimums including drinks packages.
What are the music and entertainment restrictions, particularly for Garden events?
Garden events permit only jazz, classical, or acoustic background music in keeping with the clubhouse environment and neighbourhood requirements. No amplified music is allowed in the Garden. Indoor spaces have more flexibility for entertainment, with pianist hire available from £250-£300 plus VAT, and piano hire at £200 plus VAT plus tuning costs.
What AV equipment and technical facilities are included with room hire?
Princess Alexandra Hall includes integrated audio-visual system with stage, screen, projector, PA sound system, microphones, and lectern. Hall of India & Pakistan provides sound system, microphone, and lectern. Most packages include manned cloakroom, registration desk facilities, and dedicated events team. Additional AV requirements may incur extra charges.
Are external suppliers and decorations permitted?
The venue has limited kitchen facilities available to external caterers, making dry hire unavailable. All suppliers and entertainers must be approved in advance by the Event Team. Garden exclusive hire requires approval from the ROSL Director General. Decorations and entertainment are not included in room hire and will be charged at additional cost.

Overnight accommodation is available at the Clubhouse on the night of events, subject to availability. Guests should contact the Reservations Department directly for accommodation bookings and rates. The venue is located in St James's, five minutes walk from Green Park tube station, behind the Ritz.
