The Drawing Room is an elegant space which can only be hired out for wedding ceremonies and wedding reception drinks before the wedding breakfast. It can be hired out with the garden in summer for up to 120 standing or for a ceremony of 100 seated. The Drawing Room is usually offered complimentary as part of the venue's wedding packages, however on rare occasions it could be hired out separately. Wedding packages typically include the Garden Lawn for arrival drinks reception (40 guests standing) and Princess Alexandra Hall for the wedding dinner (40 guests on round tables with space for dance floor). The Drawing Room can accommodate up to 100 seated for ceremonies or 120 standing when combined with the garden.
What are the access times for wedding events?
For The Lily Wedding Package, you get access to the Garden Lawn for one hour drinks reception and Princess Alexandra Hall from 6pm to 11pm. Entertainment is not included in the package and will be charged at additional cost.
Is overnight accommodation available for wedding guests?
Yes, overnight accommodation is available at the Clubhouse on the night of your event, subject to availability. You need to contact the Reservations Department directly to make arrangements and check pricing.
What is the booking process and deposit requirement for weddings?
To confirm your booking, you must provide written confirmation with contact details for the contract and invoicing, plus billing address. A signed contract and deposit of 100% of the Room Hire and Minimum Catering Spend (or 100% of Package Price based on minimum numbers) is required within one week of confirmation.
Does Six Park Place offer dry hire for weddings?
No, Six Park Place does not offer dry hire for weddings due to very limited kitchen facilities available to external caterers. All weddings must use the venue's in-house catering services.
What service charges apply to wedding bookings?
A discretionary 12.5% service charge on food and beverage is added to all final invoices. You can opt out of paying this charge by informing the Sales & Events Team before the final invoice is raised, and this charge applies to the net value.
