Venue hire prices vary based on access times required, including setup and breakdown periods. Full-day hire (11 hours) and half-day hire (5 hours) options are available, with the 5-hour slot restricted to morning or afternoon sessions only. Weekend bookings are 20% cheaper than weekdays, and all quotes are bespoke depending on event type and duration.

What time restrictions and curfews apply to events?

Events have a strict 11pm curfew for guest departure, with all staff and suppliers required to vacate by midnight. For events where most guests are under 21, everyone must leave by 8pm. Access can be arranged from as early as 6am to as late as midnight finish, with on-the-door security provided to manage curfews.

What AV equipment and lighting is included in the venue hire?

The venue includes professional AV/PA system, HD projector, 82-inch 4K Smart TV, 55-inch external-facing TV for branding, microphone, built-in sound system, and DJ equipment (excluding decks). Lighting features 12 RGB uplights on ground floor, 16 RGB LED spotlights on lower ground floor, and 10 movable PARR-Can warm white lights, all customizable to match event themes.

What are the booking and payment requirements?

Icetank operates on a first-come, first-served basis and does not hold dates without payment. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking, with the remaining balance due 5 weeks prior to the event date. All quotes are bespoke and any changes to access times, dates, or duration will result in adjusted pricing.

What branding and customization options are available for exhibitions and pop-ups?

The venue offers complete customization with large floor-to-ceiling windows that can be vinyled for custom branding through their trusted supplier. You can add signage, decorations, wall branding, and installations to suit your brief. The space features blackout electric blinds for privacy and a large infinity cove ideal for product displays and presentations.

What furniture and setup options are included?

Included furniture comprises 6 bistro tables (adjustable height), 3 RGB light-up poseur tables, 18 bar stools, 10 trestle tables, 6 square poseur tables, 2 cube benches (three-seater), 50 white fold-out chairs, and a lectern. Additional or bespoke furniture can be hired at extra cost, which the venue can arrange through preferred suppliers.

Are there restrictions on external suppliers and what additional fees apply?

You can bring your own caterers, but there is a non-preferred supplier fee for external vendors. The venue has preferred suppliers they work with regularly who know the kitchens and space well. Post-hire cleaning is included, but this is subject to terms for non-preferred suppliers who may incur additional cleaning charges.

What kitchen facilities are available for catering or demonstrations?

The venue has two kitchens: a demo kitchen on the ground floor (perfect as a bar setting or can be covered for product display) and a catering kitchen on the lower ground floor. Both kitchens are available for use by caterers or for cooking demonstrations as part of your event.

Icetank offers street-level access with 6ft-wide bi-fold doors, making it easy to load equipment and installations directly into the space. Parking is available just behind the building at APCOA. The venue's location on a vital pedestrian route between Covent Garden and the British Museum ensures excellent foot traffic for pop-up events.
