What are the capacity limits for different event layouts?

Icetank can accommodate up to 120 guests for standing receptions, 50 guests for seated meals or theatre-style layouts, and 30 guests for cabaret-style seating. The venue operates on an exclusive hire basis, meaning you have access to both the ground floor and lower ground floor spaces.

What are the venue hire costs and how is pricing structured?

Venue hire prices vary based on access times required, including setup and breakdown periods. All quotes are bespoke depending on the event type and duration. The venue offers both 11-hour full-day hire and 5-hour half-day hire options, with the 5-hour slot restricted to morning or afternoon sessions only, not mid-day.

What are the strict time restrictions and curfews?

All events have a strict 11pm curfew for guest departure, with loud music required to stop at 10:45pm. For events where most guests are under 21, everyone must leave by 8pm. The venue provides on-the-door security to manage these curfews, and all staff and suppliers must vacate by midnight.

What age restrictions apply to private events?

Icetank has a strict policy of no under-21s for private events. For events where most guests are under 21, a special 8pm departure curfew applies with mandatory security provided.

What AV equipment and technical facilities are included?

The venue includes a professional AV/PA system, built-in HD projector, 82-inch 4K Smart TV, 55-inch external-facing TV for branding, customizable RGB lighting throughout both floors, DJ equipment (excluding decks), microphones, and high-speed Wi-Fi (320 Mbps download/260 Mbps upload). A venue technician is provided throughout events to ensure smooth operation.

What are the booking and payment requirements?

Icetank operates on a first-come, first-served basis and does not hold dates without payment. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any booking, with the remaining balance due 5 weeks prior to the event date.

Can I bring my own caterers and what kitchen facilities are available?

You can bring your own caterers, but there is a non-preferred supplier fee. The venue has two kitchens: a demo kitchen on the ground floor (perfect as a bar setting) and a catering kitchen on the lower ground floor. Icetank also works with preferred suppliers who know the kitchens and venue well.

What branding and customization options are available?

The venue is extremely flexible for branding and theming. Large floor-to-ceiling windows can be vinyled for custom branding using their trusted supplier. You can add signage, decorations, wall branding, or installations to suit your brief, or keep the space minimal with the existing white contemporary interior.

Does the venue have an alcohol license for cash bars?

No, Icetank does not have an alcohol license and cannot operate cash bars. All drinks must be pre-paid in advance as part of the event package or catering arrangement.

What furniture is included and can additional items be hired?

Included furniture comprises bistro tables, RGB light-up poseur tables, bar stools, trestle tables, square poseur tables, cube benches, white fold-out chairs for 50 guests, and a lectern. Additional or bespoke furniture can be hired at extra cost, which the venue can arrange through their preferred suppliers.
