The Laboratory accommodates up to 14 people for private dining. The Billiard room can accommodate up to 14-15 guests but will feel tight at 15. The Conservatory room can only accommodate 8-10 guests seated.

What does the private dining package cost and what's included?

The private dining package costs £100.00 plus VAT per person and includes simple stylish decoration, 1 glass of prosecco on arrival, 3-course dinner (£65.00 set menu), half a bottle of mineral water, half a bottle of house wine, room hire, and cloakroom. A discretionary service charge of 12.5% is added to the final bill.

What are the typical event timings for dinner parties?

Private dining events typically run from 19:00-22:00 (7pm-10pm). The venue can accommodate events until late, with some events running until midnight or 1am depending on availability.

Can I bring my own wine and what are the corkage charges?

Yes, you can bring your own wine with corkage charges of £30.00 per bottle. This allows you to maximize your budget while still enjoying your preferred wines.

What deposit and payment terms are required to secure the booking?

A 50% deposit is required to secure the space. Final event details must be provided 10 days before the event date.

Can dietary requirements be accommodated in the set menu?

Yes, dietary requirements can be accommodated. While there are only 3 bowl options on the standard menu, ingredients can be adjusted to meet specific dietary needs.

What spaces can be combined for larger dinner parties?

The Laboratory can be combined with other spaces including the fully-stocked Pantry, Conservatory, and Billiard room. For events up to 25 people, you can use The Gallery with Billiards & Pantry for arrival drinks and networking.

Are there any event types that are not permitted?

The venue does not host 18th birthday parties. Events with very low budgets may also be declined due to minimum spend requirements.

For intimate dining, you can have one large table for up to 20 guests in boardroom layout. For 25 guests, the venue cannot accommodate everyone at one round table or one large trestle table due to capacity constraints.
