Frequently asked questions

Bridge Theatre is primarily available for weekday daytime hires only, as Monday through Saturday evenings are typically occupied by their own productions. Sunday hires may be possible depending on their production schedule. The venue is also unavailable during production changeover periods between shows.

For a half-day booking, the auditorium-only hire is £13,200 (+VAT) and the entire venue (auditorium plus all foyer spaces) is £21,890 (+VAT). Additional staffing costs are charged separately, and technical requirements including AV equipment would be quoted separately.

The auditorium can accommodate approximately 900 people in seated configuration. During runs of immersive productions, the venue can host promenade receptions for approximately 400 people.

Production schedules are not confirmed far in advance, with September 2026 schedules still unconfirmed as of current communications. It's recommended to contact them later in the year for dates more than a year out, as their availability depends on their own production calendar.

Weekday daytimes offer the best availability, particularly Monday through Friday. Saturdays typically have two performances of their own productions, and Wednesday evenings usually have 19:30 performances, making evening availability unlikely on these days.

The venue offers food and beverage packages through their catering partner St. John. Specific catering costs and menu options would be quoted separately based on your event requirements.

Technical requirements including AV equipment are quoted separately from the base venue hire fee. The venue has staging capabilities and can accommodate events requiring projection and sound systems, but these are additional costs beyond the standard venue fee.

The venue can accommodate various event types including conferences, company briefings, awards ceremonies, graduations, product launches, and networking receptions. However, availability is heavily restricted by their own production schedule, and they may decline bookings that conflict with performances or technical rehearsals.

You can hire either the auditorium-only or the entire venue including all foyer spaces. The entire venue option includes access to the foyer areas which boast views of the Thames, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, making it suitable for receptions and networking events.

If your event doesn't align with their availability or requirements, Bridge Theatre will actively help find alternative venues for your event. They have a policy of assisting clients in finding suitable alternatives when they cannot accommodate the booking themselves.
