We offer the unique opportunity for your business to have its conference or presentation on the set of a Bridge Theatre production.

Our flexible and highly accessible auditorium affords excellent sight-lines and an intimate atmosphere despite its high capacity. Our state-of-the-art technical capabilities ensure that any audio-visual elements will have maximum impact. With end-on, thrust or promenade formats, we can work with you to make the best use of the space, based on your requirements.

Frequently asked questions

For a half-day booking, the auditorium-only hire is £13,200 (+VAT) and the entire venue (auditorium plus all foyer spaces) is £21,890 (+VAT). Additional staffing costs and technical requirements including AV are quoted separately and are mandatory add-ons to the base venue fee.

The theatre is available for weekday daytime events only, as Monday through Saturday evenings are reserved for their own productions with performances typically at 19:30. Sunday hires may be possible depending on the production schedule, but availability must be confirmed in advance.

The auditorium holds approximately 900 people depending on the existing configuration. The flexible space can be arranged in end-on, thrust, or promenade formats to suit different event requirements.

Production schedules are not confirmed far in advance, with September 2026 schedules still unconfirmed as of current communications. It's recommended to enquire later in the year for dates in the following year, as the theatre may be in production changeover between shows even when not performing.

If the theatre has performances scheduled (typically two shows on Saturdays at 14:30 and 19:30), the space is completely unavailable for hire. The venue will decline bookings for any dates with scheduled performances or technical rehearsals.

Evening hires are generally not available Monday through Saturday due to their own production schedule with 19:30 performances. Friday evening events are specifically mentioned as unavailable due to performance commitments.

The theatre has state-of-the-art technical capabilities for maximum audio-visual impact, but specific AV requirements are quoted separately as additional costs. Technical support and equipment are not included in the base venue hire fee.

Food and beverage packages are available through their catering partner St. John if desired. Catering is an optional add-on service and not included in the base venue hire costs.

Daytime events can run from 9am to 1pm for half-day bookings. Events must end before evening performances, and specific end times depend on the performance schedule for that day.

The first new theatre of scale to be added to London's commercial theatre stock in 80 years, The Bridge opened in 2017 and has seen the likes of Ben Whishaw, Jim Broadbent, Gwendoline Christie, Ralph Fiennes, Jonathan Bailey and Maggie Smith perform on its stage.
