Heritage Rooms at 30 Euston Square

Event spaces are sold in two periods: Day (8:00-17:00) and Evening (18:00-23:00). Cross-period bookings (spanning both periods) incur higher costs. For example, the Auditorium costs £9,500 + VAT for day hire or £3,250 + VAT for evening hire, with cross-period hire at £12,000 + VAT. State Rooms & Terrace evening hire is £3,750 + VAT (reduced to £2,700 + VAT if confirmed within 2 weeks).

All event spaces have mandatory F&B minimum spends that vary by period and space. Day period minimum is £3,100, evening minimum is £4,650, and cross-period minimum is £3,500 + VAT. These minimums must be met through venue catering and cannot be waived or substituted with external catering.

The Auditorium includes 4K cinema laser projector, screen, 7.1 surround sound, microphones, lectern, and Wi-Fi, but requires two AV technicians at £1,000 + VAT per day. State Rooms include projector, screen, PA system, and microphones, requiring one technician at £525 + VAT per day (£400 + VAT for evenings). All AV technician costs are mandatory when using the equipment.

The Auditorium accommodates 300 theatre-style or 250 cabaret-style. State Rooms & Terrace can host up to 200 standing reception or 120 seated dinner. Heritage Rooms accommodate 8-40 guests for dining or up to 50 theatre-style. Capacity determines which spaces are available and affects minimum spend requirements.

For events within one week, signed contracts are required by 12:00 the day before confirmation, with full payment required prior to the event. This accelerated timeline allows the operations team sufficient planning time but limits flexibility for last-minute changes or cancellations.

Spaces can be held on 'first option' (priority hold) or 'second option' (backup hold). The venue releases enquiries if no response is received within their standard timeframe. Joint first options are available when multiple clients are interested in the same date, requiring faster decision-making.

DDR packages range from £85-£106.80 + VAT per person and include room hire (8:00-17:00), chef's choice sandwiches and finger food, three refreshment breaks with organic teas and coffee, and filtered water. Upgrades to hot and cold buffet lunch cost an additional £10-£12.60 per person, with custom menu selections available for £1.50-£2.60 per person supplement.

The venue has an ethical policy that may restrict certain suppliers. External DJs and entertainment can be hired directly by clients, but if contracted through the venue, a 20% service charge applies. Spiral Entertainment is the preferred DJ supplier with established pricing, though clients can use external providers subject to venue approval.

Christmas packages are available with 80s-themed joiner party nights for smaller teams. Wedding packages include exclusive hire of State Rooms & Terrace (11:00-17:00 or 18:00-00:00), dedicated operations manager, cloakroom attendant, welcome drinks, canapés, and bowl foods. Specific package pricing and inclusions vary by season and must be confirmed at time of booking.

Summer party bookings in May and July receive two complimentary welcome drinks per person for new bookings. Ground floor meeting rooms have 10% discounts available. September events may qualify for special DDR rates at £85 + VAT per person. All promotional offers are subject to availability, minimum numbers, and must be new bookings only.
